>_> Testing the waters after a long period of, as we call it in vbender, "DP Ded".

Soooo, flea market today. There was a new guy here today, I can't recall if he's usual or someone getting rid of some crap. As I walked towards his booth I saw a big box labeled "GAMES" :D. So I rushed over there, and sifted through PC games and some PS1 games and found what you see here. Kloudelka (PS1), was a game I'd never heard of but the back described it as a "19th century horror RPG game" and for $4 figured it was worth a try (turns out it's worth a bit more than $4 anyways >_>). The games here are Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver (collector's edition, PS1), Blood Omen (collector's edition, PS1), Ballerburg: Castle Chaos (PS1), Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine (PC), FFVII (tattered sleeve, no instructions, but all CDs are there in good shape, PC), and Return to Krondor (PC). I love Return to Krondor and I haven't seen a copy in the wild since I bought it at Best Buy almost 10 years ago! Anyways, I was talking to the vendor and he said he had a TON of PS1 games and people were there that morning all over them. I feel bad I missed out. Why do you ask? Because the Legacy of Kain games and Kloudelka are labeled with one of those little handheld labelling machines, as #245, #247, and #252 (Obviously whoever owned them filed them under "Kain" and "Kloudelka"). I think a huge PS1 collection was sold that morning and I missed it :( Err... price for all of them? I made this stack and asked the guy for a best price (me being the cheapskate), he looked at me and said "Oh well, they're priced pretty good already" (facepalm). I mean, yeah they are priced good but this is a flea market! I need to haggle a bit! So the guy told me he'd take off a whole dollar, but not before trying to sell me a bootleg DVD copy of the Expendables. :/ So yeah, it was $17 for all of that.

O_O Holy crap, longer period of "DP ded" than I thought, it's already Tuesday and I have a few more finds from the lot sale...
SNES games: Home Improvement (UGH), Lion King, Super Off-Road, Magical Quest Starring Mickey Mouse, and Mario Paint, $0.50 a piece
A few systems: an N64 with power supply and an Intellivision in good shape, $5 a piece.... Sort of regretting this, as I have no idea what to do with them now >_>
Two pieces of vintage audio stuff, both Toshiba, a PC-4460 (http://www.vintagecassette.com/Toshiba/PC-4460), which is a cassette deck with pretty good build quality and some nice features... Doesn't work right but I think I have a friend that can work on it, it was $5 btw. Also, a 10M-860F (http://www.flickr.com/photos/2104bouboul/4199804616/) radio, in really really nice shape. I'm really loving this radio, it's late 60s style is great, that was $3.
Yep, that's it for today. I'm trying not to buy as much crap as I usually do but I think I need to work on that (/me points at the Intellivision and Home Improvement.)

I've been trying to cut back on my spending, so I haven't got much to list:
Digimon World 2 for $10.00 (Used, CIB) - I had to get this resurfaced before it would play properly. I find gameplay a vast improvement over the first one.
Sonic the Hedgehog T-Shirt for $5.00 (New) - I found this in my local liquidation store. However, I discovered it was several sizes too big for me. Since it was the only Sonic shirt they had at the store, I decided to buy it anyway and use it a pajama top.
Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Sonic R/C Car for $29.99 (New) - I've been having tons of fun chasing my cat around with this thing!
Mega Man "E-Tank" Energy Drink for $2.99 - It tasted almost exactly like the Sonic energy drink I tried a month ago, only a little sweeter.
Black Jack Volume 2 for $18 (New) - My sister gave me a Coles gift card for my birthday. So I finally had an opportunity to pick up another volume of this awesome series!

Billy Hatcher at Gamestop $4.99.
http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=30025
I went to three Gamestops to get a complete version, which is getting harder to find. Found one that even has the mail in Sonic Team Sega warranty card inside. I have pretty good luck at this particular gamestop. A small low volume store, with a lot of complete older games. I bought PSX DDR Disney Dance Mix for fifteen bucks there a few years ago. Silly Disney music, but has a few unique 50s rockability tracks. Bought this was when it was peaking over a hundred bucks at Amazon and EBay.
My lucky CIB Gamestop location.
The best part of Billy Hatcher is the three GBA games:
Puyo Pop
ChuChu Rocket
Nights Time Attack 8-)
Just gotta unlock the eggs, if I get tired of the Katamari gameplay there is always Action replay.

I stopped by a Goodwill today and saw this in their glass case. I saw it and looked like this: :O

Anyway, the thing was still sealed but the guys at this Goodwill like to take packing tape to all DVDs, Games and apparently Ghaleon Hand Puppets. There was tape going around vertically and horizontally. Thankfully, I was able to get it off without destroying the box.

Not going to bother with pictures until the permanent forum is back online but today I had a huge score.
- Crate containing SNES, Nintendo 64, five controllers (2 SNES, 3 N64), and 28 games (24 N64, 4 SNES) - $5 - Lady told me she didn't know what was all in there as it had been in her basement. Consoles were dirty but not discolored and every game I've tried so far works. Probably $200 worth of goodies here, with several Mario games for the N64 included in the lot. Judging from the box, I figured I was getting two systems, couple of controllers, and a couple of loose games. Take everything out when I get home and there's a horde of N64 games stacked neatly on the bottom. The best part? There was only one "sports" game in the lot (Olympics '98) - there were some titles like Excitebike, Ridge Racer, etc.
- 8 NES games, PS1 Asteroids, and some NBA game for the N64 (too lazy to get up to check) - $5 - Nothing of much value on the NES except Bubble Bobble. Got a copy of Top Gun, Spy Hunter, Spy vs. Spy, and a few others.
- Sony Minidisc Player & Pioneer Six CD changer - $6 - CD changer is missing the magazine but minidisc players are valuable. Need to find the one minidisc I have to try it out.
It's unfortunate that I can't find any Genesis stuff around here because that's what I collect for. I wasn't a Nintendo kid growing up beyond the Gameboy, and I only had that for the same reason everyone else had one; it was cheaper than the Game Gear.

NES Zapper - .25
Turbo Grafix 16 Bundle With 18 Games All Hookups & Some Misc - $10
Castlevania Adventure 2 - .75
Top Gear Rally 2 & Some Misc N64 Stuff - $1.50
Found the zapper at the first sale, no price seller said how about a buck to which I said I was thinking .25 which was taken. Asked about video games at the second sale of the day and I was pointed to the box I overlooked in the first picture which was kind of easy to miss (hidden in plain sight), said $10 on it and I was sold! Unadvertised sale asking about games I was pointed to a small thing with books that had a Game Boy game in it also that I didn't notice, they were asking .75. One of the last sales of the day, wanted a buck per a game and I ended up adding in the rumble pack & empty case for .50 more (passed on a generic N64 memory card, generic rumble pack and a WCW wrestling game in a snapcase like the ones I got).

At the end of the day I saw some free stuff which was put out from a sale that was done for the day. Stopped by on the way back down the road and grabbed this box for what I saw hidden down in the bottom.

Spyro: Year of The Dragon (GH, Complete) - $1
7 PC Games (3 With Guides, All of Which Look To Be Complete) - $3
Castlevania: SOTN (Complete, GH) & 7 PS1 Demos (New) - $12
Spyro was $2 took a buck. Decent number of PC games at one sale were asking a buck each and the lady let it be know that she was serious about getting rid of stuff as I started looking around. Picked out a few and offered $3 which was taken no problems. I only knew about the Diablo guide, the other 2 were nice little surprises that I found jammed in the game boxes when I got home.
Castlevania was $10 from a guy I went to school with so I didn't bother to try and haggle it down at all and the demos were from a guy that used to work at EBgames about 10 years ago I said I was thinking a buck or two for them and he said he'd do two, I actually also had a Harvest Moon: Back To Nature demo also that was generic looking like the Gauntlet Legends demo that I hope I left in my car and didn't somehow leave behind at the sale.

N64 Bundle & GBC (No Battery Cover) - $24
Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World - $2
GameBoy Printer - $1
The GBC was a buck and as I went to pay for it I offered $20 for the N64 bundle which was marked rather high at $45. The guy countered with $25 to which I offered to meet in the middle and he ended it at $23. Asking $3 for the GBA game, offered a buck and took the counter of $2. GameBoy Printer said "make offer" of which I did in a dollar.

SNES Mini With Everything Needed And 16 Games - $20
A dozen SNES Games - $5
Asked about games and was told no but was called back as I was walking away as the lady remembered an SNES they had. Brought it out and was told up front as they showed it to me that I could have it for $20 which I did. Asked about games at another sale to which the guy said he had some SNES games in the attic, brought them down and after I looked them over I offered $5 which was taken.
http://img203.imageshack.us/img203/7451/91910.th.jpg (http://img203.imageshack.us/i/91910.jpg/)
Shinobi III: Return of The Ninja Master (Boxed) - $1
Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko - $2
Fable (Complete With Bonus DVD) - $3
Shinobi was asking price. I saw an N64 with a game in it which ended up being Gex 3. Guy said $20 when I picked it up then $15 when I was sour towards the price. I politely said that I was mostly just interested in the game and wasen't looking to spend that much for an extra system then he offered to sell me the game for $2 which was good enough for me. The system was about as dirty as I've ever seen an N64 and one of the flaps were the game goes had trouble closing right when I took the game out. Fable from a regular seller, was $5 I offered $2 which was countered with $3.

8 PS1 Games & 2 Manuals, 3 Last Gen Games And A 360 Controller (Burnout The Only Game Missing It's Manual) - $5
Forza 2 (Disc Only) & An Interact Deal For Wireless Controllers - $1.25
NES Sleeve - Free
The $5 find was from the first sale of the day. Asked about old games and the PS1 games were brought out in a thing marked .25 each as if they were already marked for sale and forgotten to be put out. Everything I had was totaled up to 9.25 and they took my offer of $5. $1.25 was the asking price for the 2nd find and the NES sleeve was found in a box of typical yardsale stuff and the guy said I could have it.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords (No Manual) - $3
Contra: Legacy of War & Tiny Toon Adventures: Plucky's Big Adventure - $2
Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! - Mega Man X
Star Wars from a regular, $5 took $3. The Playstation games from another regular, were asking a buck each. I was asked about Mega Man X from yet another regular a few weeks back and I happened to find one while yardsaling last weekend which I traded to him for Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!.
