And you all wanted a place for a convention in Michigan?Well there is going to be a anime con at the Holiday Inn in Southfield in September,I bet it wouldn't cost too much to have it there and couldbe nice.It is just an idea...

Good lawd, never knew so many people lived in Michigan. =x This is a little belated but I'll surely be there Saturday, at least I hope so. Don't forget me Kevin or Jason.. you know I'm on the way anyhow. >:P

I'll be there tomorrow around 4:00. I forgot to bring my flaming red shirt, so you'll just have to go with the little portrait to the left. I'll have drum sticks and quite a few A/V supplies.

I'll be wearing some kind of video game shirt (depends on which one is clean), so you'll be able to spot me. Of course being 6'2" and around 250 pounds helps me stand out a bit in the crowds.

I should be bringing two or three friends and I should have a video gaming shirt on.Should be there around 4-5.But chances are we will be the youngest people there(16).

Para Para Paradise and Police 911
The Para Para gear has been ordered for my PS2 already, so I have that taken care of. Now to find a Police 911 set up....

damn! sounds like I missed a good time. I was at my nieces 4th birthday party till after 7:00. how long did the meet go? did you guys do anything after Pinball Pete's?

For the most part we just went home ;p Although at 6 or 7 a group of us went out to whizzy wigs, followed by Borders, followed by pizza. That was a fun trip.

I discovered that I'm the Para Para master ;) I got S's on most of the songs and even a SS once or twice. I've got to get an Import PS2 for this one. Anyone got a spare? :)

I can't wait to see how any of the pictures I took came out...they included boogieman being "extreme" with his cardboard n-gage, the Puzzle de Pon challenge, bizounce goin at it in cvs2, and mr driller. I may have gotten a picture of biz freestylin in para para paradise, but I'm not sure.
Oh yeah, I'm the champion of Virtual Air Hockey. Undefeated LOL

I knew I should have stayed,getting there early and leaving early is no fun.

To any one interested...
Wizzards Arcade on 8 mile and Gratiot is having a tournament for the first time in a while for a few games, on september 6th.
SNK vs Capcom Chaos at 4 pm
5 dollar entry fee
2/3 double elimination
payout 80%-1st place, 20% 2nd
At the current time, Zero is banned from the tournament (don't ask me why).
Capcom vs SNK 2 Team Tournament at 7 pm
5 dollar per person (10 dollars overall per team)
3/5 double elimination
Roll cancelling is not permitted
Payout 80/20 for 1st place team and 2nd place, respectively.
Possibly Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike, if the other guy can get the day off, will be added. The organizer, George Massu, has been known to pull shady things in tournaments to build interest in the games...its possible the Zero and RCs may be one of his schemes, since he's never had a problem with RCs before this.

I'd love to attend the next get together. Has the group given up the idea of a local show/swap meet?
I'd attend and be willing to help do some of the work also.
