Just look at the sales of March, April and May of 2010 and 2011.
I did and I don't see a 60% drop in US console sales for the Nintendo Wii from that period in 2011 compared with 2010.

The rest of your post is irrelevant. That PDF table (It isn't even a chart, a chart is a graphical representation like that link above, not a table of values like a Excel spreadsheet) doesn't allow me to compare US console sales for January-July of 2011 with that same period in 2010 to see this 60% drop in US console sales so far this year compared with last year. A drop I don't see to that degree in that NPD chart that does deal with that information month by month, graphically.
Instead, it deals with an entire fiscal year and the majority of that latest fiscal year, ending in March 2011, took place in the 2010 calendar year. I think they just stuck the 1st quarter 2011 results in there for completionist's sake since they were available, even though it isn't comparable with any of the previous values that represented sales for an entire fiscal year and not just the 1st quarter of their respective years.
Anyways, it's unimportant either way and isn't worth disagreeing over. Nintendo Wii sales are far down and no one was ever contesting that as far as I can see. And two novices trying to predict upcoming sales for a console, which isn't even relevant to this thread, is just derailing it and is an exercise in futility. So I think we should call it quits. We'll see what ends up happening and who was right in a few months time and rub it in via PM if either of us even remembers this by the time holiday sales reports are released.
