I picked up an Xbox 360 at a garage sale for $5, since it had the red ring. I was hoping I could get MS to repair it, but it is out of warranty. I'm looking at repairing it myself to keep as a spare, or to sell. It would also be good practice if I ever have to repair my 360.
I was wondering if any of you know of a good guide for this? I was looking at Llamma's Xbox 360 3RLOD X-Clamp Fix Tutorial (http://www.llamma.com/xbox360/repair/ring_of_light_x-clamp_fix.htm). I'm trying to figure out what is the best to follow.
