Iron Man animated series dvd $3
Highlander animated series dvd $3
Mario And Sonic At The Olympic Games(Wii) $3
Perfect Dark: Second Front novel 50 cents
Sonic Adventure 2: Battle(GC) $3
No More Heroes: Heroes Paradise(PS3) $11.50
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis(PS1) $2
Doom: Knee Deep In The Dead novel 50 cents
The Wii and PS1 games were the only things I found at yardsales this week. No More Heroes Paradise was used from Best Buy and I got a pretty substantial discount for being a rewards member and having a coupon. The novels, dvds and all other games were from Goodwill. Lately they have been getting some pretty good stuff in. Although I'm not too thrilled to have two more dvd series to add to my backlog at those prices I couldn't say no.

Holy shit there's a Highlander cartoon DVD set?! I want that! :(
Also, reposting from the other thread.
I bought three things today:
Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth (DVD version, PC)
The Blue Moonies (CD, new)
Terra Nova: Strike Force Centauri (PC CD, complete)
All from the same seller for a dollar each. The guy had several sealed copies of The Movies (PC) and other random games but I wasn't sure if the game was worth much of anything so I left them behind. I thought Terra Nova would be worth a bit since it's a Looking Glass Studios game (you know, the System Shock guys) but nope! Worthless. I'll probably stash it in my closet.
Battle for Middle Earth is complete and I'll be reselling it on eBay. The Blue Moonies... well, it's a band from California, and this CD is a year old. That's about all I know, I haven't opened it yet.

Windows 2000 Server (no box) $5

The broken Turbografx CD I bought from BenG76 for $120 arrived too, ain't broken now ^.^.

Neither of those. It's the smaller box.

Ah.
Only went to one yard sale today, right down the street from where I live. Lady had Wii games (fitness games, other shovelware) and wanted $10 apiece so I passed. However, I did find a KVM switch in the box for $2, a Netgear router w/ print server for $1, and an external SanDisk 5-in-1 drive for 50 cents. Nothing to break the bank but I had to go out anyway so it's a bonus.

Went to my local flea market today. The weather was cool and the place was packed. About half way through, I find a seller with some Wii and PS3 stuff. He wanted $25 each for Nintendo Selects... Smart fellow that one. After digging through the pile of PS3 titles, I find something out of place. "How much for this one?" I ask. To which he replies "Oh, that's an old Playstation game, you can have it for a dollar." So with that, I proudly walked off with a complete copy of Dragon Warrior VII.
The best part was that the fiercest reseller around these parts was right at the next table and saw everything. He didn't look very pleased, haha.

FLEA MARKET:
I got up pretty early today to go picking..but seems every distraction that could go on did..as I was getting ready to leave I get a call from a friend who was at the flea market earlier then me,he says that there’s a little motorcycle for $100.00 that I might like to check out.So I rush out the door, family in tow,wife-two sons and 4 month old daughter..what I didn’t realize is how hot it is today.
I get to the market and it’s huge but not as many customer cars in the lot due to the heat..Instead of my usual start at one end I go down the middle isle that I was told the bike was at..I don’t see anything,so I basically blow through the isle and come up on a Chinese made pocket bike,....if you know my history I race European pocket bikes... ....My son actually spots the bike,it was the same type project bike I have in my basement,it has all the parts I need to complete my bike but was missing a lot of parts to get the bike itself running..(but enough parts to make one bike out of two with mine). The vendor however is a Prick,he jumps out with his chest up high on how expensive it is.(it’s NOT it’s China made junk and beat). He wants $70.00 but will sell it for $50.00..It was BEAT UP,flat rear tire,,missing the pegs, missing the faring, not running, missing the whole starter cover=$30.00 on ebay..I could make my money back, break even on the parts on ebay and have what I needed to complete my project ..the bike is worth more in parts then as a whole....but talking to the guy he’s lying to me on parts cost,on the bikes value and pissing me off...I’m getting frustrated looking at the bike as he blasts in my ear BS that’s not true....I haggle to $30.00 he tells me NO!!..I haggle to $40.00 and he says>take a walk with an attitude so you know the heck with him..It was way to hot to argue, let him keep it at his price..
I find Nothing in those two isles,by the end of the isle my ice cold ice tea was HOT..
I run into a Razor electric pocketbike,I have a bunch of these,..it has a dead battery and no charger $85.00..WHAT..Ok,new they are expensive but not worth $85 at a flea market..
To have a CANOPY at this flea market you have to pay $100.00 insurance fee so most vendors had no canopy.
Next isle:
first vendor loose Game gear games $3.00 each..I pass..
I buy his White Nintendo DS Lite for $3.00 (needs a battery)
I find this nice lady, she has a bunch of PS2,Xbox Games all lined up neat on a table...Getting Heated by the Sun...she also has a PS2 system with no bay cover and no tray cover..she wants $30.00(just like the guy next to her) but she will sell hers for $20.00 ..I haggle to $10.00 for this console only system, she declines with a smile and says its her Sons but he is not here right now ..
Ok,so I pass by later on my way out and the Sons there, the lady sees me coming, her sons back..I offer $15.00..he looks at me like I’m nuts,he wants $40.00 for it now.....
...other isles...same old used Xbox,PS2s,Playstations.
The last vendor I hit:
I know him,he’s not a usual vendor in my parts,he sells in NY mainly..He either is in a good mood or bad mood..when he’s in a good mood he sells real cheap,in a bad mood he sells real high..I have bought some really good stuff from this guy so I am happy to see him there today.
The first thing I see is a Halo Xbox Special Edition with no top cover(that’s unusual) it’s in a pile of gaming wires,microphones..I pick it up and the vendor says $2.00...I know he’s in a good mood then, let me see what else he has..
He has a TON of video game stuff..boxes of older system Lanyards .He gives me a NINTENDO lanyard for my Son..
He tells me that he started off there with 1500 games this morning, selling them around 1.00 each and people were buying them by the bulk..
He still had at least 400 Xbox,PS2 and Dreamcast games ..Bins all over the place filled with game stuff, tangled wires, light guns,rifles..I am so HOT at this point that I am dripping wet in sweat as a rummage through these bins ,the sweat was pouring off me so much that it was dripping on everything,I turn this way, more stuff,I don’t know what to grab, then older NES,SNES game stuff on his tables UGH..what to buy what to buy..as I’m looking I’m trying to make a pile and these two kids keep grabbing stuff that I put in my pile so the vendor gives me a box and says fill it up I will give you a good price..this is tough as sometimes you spend all that time filling a box and then the price is to high ..I keep dragging this box around with me and people are poking in it,man can’t you see it’s on my Son you moron..so I put the box in the vendors van(on no it’s filled with gaming stuff in the van not yet put out) ..I keep looking, and putting stuff in the box.these kids keep going to see what I put in my box and I gotta keep moving the box further into the van to keep them out of it..I passed up so much stuff,it just was to hot and two much to look through..I spent $32.00 on the entire box..I don’t know if anything is worth anything or what is what.. but I don’t think I did too bad,he even gave me the PS1 screen and plug for nothing..
The Final Fantasy is missing disc 2.I didn’t care as he threw it in my box for free..
The Xbox 360 Games I picked up at Gamestop,Seems I built up a bunch of points on my Rewards plan..
as I was leaving the flea market I see the Pocketbike again being pulled around in a wagon,I had to stop and ask the guy how much did he pay for it..$30.00...I guess his two big Pit Bulls may have changed the vendors tone.

Daryll man, you need to make your font a little bit bigger. Normally it wouldn't be a problem but ever since we've gotten these solar flares overhead I've lost my X-Ray vision. So now instead of seeing four miles into the future I'm squinting as if I dropped a contact. That freeloader is a nice find though.
Today I went to a few yard sales and a flea market. I only found one DS game and a music cd, which is why there are no pictures. I'll add pics to a later post when I find enough stuff to warrant one.

This morning I managed to find a few decent Nintendo games at a flea market that I hit once in a while. For some reason I almost missed going down this row, but I am glad that I did. I picked up a complete copy of Rad Racer II, a boxed rental copy of Puzzle with a set of Funco instructions, and a loose cart of Commander Keen for the GBC. I got all the games and a NIB Barbie for my wife for a total of $14 so the games probably weren't that much. I was expecting it to be more.
The guy had a couple more that I may be going back after tomorrow morning.

I'll probably end up keeping just a couple of the games and dumping the system and remainder of the games, but I know I did ok on the deal.

The breath jumped out of my lungs when I saw that Power Lords box in the middle... Fantastic find!
I hit a flea market outside of the Dallas area, didn't find anything of interest in the realm of video games, but I came across a lot of old toys from the era of my childhood. This is the only one I bothered buying though, for $5. The seller knew that Star Birds were worth more, but this one's in lousy shape. Missing pieces and what look to be cigarette burns all over one side, oddly. Still, I always wanted one when I was a kid, so it'll look nice on a shelf. With the side with all the burns facing the wall.

Went back to the flea market that I went to yesterday and picked up a few more things. I got a complete copy of Puzznic for the NES as well as a boxed copy of Sky Shark for $3 each. From another dealer, I picked up these two booklets that I had never seen before. Unfortunately, one has some sun damage or something to it and both have that musty basement/storage smell. They were $1 for the pair. I may kick myself, but the guy I bought the NES games from had a nice sealed copy of Airwolf that he wanted $15 for but I passed on it.

I wanted one of these from childhood as well and I found one MINT in box at an antique mall back about 12 years ago in Plano. I bought it for $25 and played with it for awhile, but eventually decided to sell it. This was when I used to setup to sell at the local toy shows and I ended up selling it and the box for $100. Loved that toy, and now that I saw your picture I wish I wouldn't have sold it....

Flea market sucked today. Apparently everyone is now going to a new flea market and I'll have to check it out next week (didn't have the address today). Only found a boxed PS1 for $5.
Best moment: having some guy tell me a first-party loose PS1 multi-tap sells for $60 while trying to talk me into a PS1 bundle for $30. LOL

So I got it now to take a look at it..

You might do okay with the satradio but it's been a while since I've had one to sell. They don't bring in a lot usually however.
If your copy of Office is Retail and not OEM, you can sell it on eBay. That looks like a retail box from the picture. As long as it is retail and you have a serial number, you're good. I just sold one a few months ago.
The CIB games in the post above me reminded me of the games I passed on today. Some guy wanted $15 for a boxed DK2 and $20 for a boxed Super Mario 64. Would have grabbed them but the DK2 was missing everything but the game (and the box wasn't great) and the SM64 looked like a truck ran over it. Was also trying to sell sealed Atari commons (like Football) for $5 apiece. That flea market has really gone to hell this year. New management and their direction have pushed a lot of regular vendors away. Fewer people are coming and one-time sellers are going to more populated flea markets now. Such a shame too.

Black Men Magazine $2
Chrono Cross(PS1) $2
Final Fantasy Tactics(PS1) $2
Vagrant Story(PS1) $2
Saga Frontier(PS1) $2
Lunar 2(PS1) $2
Castlevania: SOTN(PS1) $2
Recharable Battery 2 Pack(360) $20
Kirby: Super Star Ultra(DS) $6
Kirby was the only thing I found during my yard sale travels yesterday. I picked up the battery 2 pack from Best Buy on the way back from the flea market today. I really needed this as one of my two rechargable batteries no longer holds a charge at all. When I put it on the charger it automatically turns green but when I put in in the controller it will either come on for a second and die or won't come on at all. It's still lasted a good two years though and now I have three I can cycle thru.
All the other stuff came from a flea market I hit today. The PS1 games were thrown in with a mix of cds and dvds. He also had a few others, such as Star Ocean and Saga Frontier 2. But both of those were disc only and the disc were pretty scratched up. Actually SF2 was probably unplayable as it had a really thick ring going around the entire disc. Some of the disc only games such as Parasite Eve weren't in that bad of shape but Lunar 2 was the only one I deemed worthy of picking up without it's case and manual since it atleast had all three disc present. But if everything he had was complete and in good shape I might have come back with another 5-8 rpg games for both the PS1 and PS2.

I don't touch the letter size...The default size seems to be too small as all I do is type here and it looks to small to members(glad to know now-thanks) ..I don't know why it looks to small or how to say lock in a default size of two....It doesn't look small when I type here via whatever the default is..
What is the default size?2?
Nonethless everytime I post the site freezes and I have to re type again, this is the only site that freezes up when I post..forget about touching the smileys..

Best Buy has been my go-to place for the past couple of weeks. They had their big game blow out a few weeks ago that I posted about in July. Last week I managed to snatch up Rabbids Alive and Kicking for 360 for $5. This week they had a slew of PC games marked down and I happened to be in a store that had a good amount of them on hand.
I picked up
Dungeons and Dragons: Daggerdale - $6.99
Dungeon Siege III - $9.99
Deus EX: Human Revolution - $6.99
Age of Empires Online - $9.99
Left 4 Dead 2 - $9.99

So a buddy of mine had a really solid score at the local pawn shop yesterday with a bunch of boxed/complete Genesis games. I decided to swing by there just on the off chance he missed something plus I was already in the area. Found a top loading NES marked at 50 bucks, pass but first time I've seen on in this store. But then I found...
http://i655.photobucket.com/albums/uu277/camarotuner13/Photo488.jpg
Marked 19.99? Nothing Genesis is ever marked over 5 dollars. So they must have done SOME kind of research to realize it's worth something and settled on 20 bucks? Whatever, yay me.
But does anyone know what it *IS* worth?

In that condition, I think he could get $80. Box wear drops it down but a steal for a Jackson. I did see some eBay completed listings in the $150+ range but those boxes looked really nice. If I were him, I'd probably list it with a 100-120 OBO fixed-listing and see what happens if he intends to sell it.
I wasn't a fan because it plays like Zelda (and I hate Zelda) but it's a well-made title. As with everything else Sega, it came a bit too late to make an impact. It was released a few months before the 32X. Might have been a different story for Sega if it had launched in 1991 with LTTP.

mazes of fate
Mazes of fate and spiritual warfare were the best finds, seeing as only 1000 copies of mazes of fate was release (?) and the price of spiritual warfare on ebay.
On top of this i got crash bash and spyro year of the dragon, 2 copies of luigis mansion and 2 copies of starfox adventures, along with a gamecube controller, a 3rd party n64 rumble pack, a game and watch "octopus" keychain game and some random 2000's comedy movies dvds.
this was the best find i've had in the past year at least.
also, a couple days ago at goodwill I found an atari 2600 jr. and a colecovision, both with 2 controllers and a handful of $.50 cent games, costed about $20, for some reason the atari was priced $15 and the coleco was $1.

Was gone for a week+ and did very little hunting. A thrift I did go to had 5 $2 NES games, but nothing worthwhile; I was still pretty happy just to see super cheap NES like the 'old days'. Anyway, one day after playing tennis we went to a garage sale across the street and I picked up Super Paper Mario Sel for $5.
And yesterday morning we went to one of my usual haunts and found more than I have in a long while, though still nothing too exciting.
http://i707.photobucket.com/albums/ww75/evanwink42/Finds/29A0FC6F-orig.jpg
Total was about $45 as it was 25% off day.
N64 I got because it had ISS 98 taped in it with all the cords and controller. I can probably make my money back on the system and keep the game.
Zip 100 USB. Not sure why these are worth money, but I'm not complaining. Reminds me I have a 750 I need to sell, too.
Sony tapes... for some reason I thought these were worth a lot to the right people. Anyone know?
I'm guessing the Sonic games came in like this and they just passed em on that way.
Wico Boss controller is one I don't have, not sure if I'll keep it or not.

A lot of people still use older audio equipment that uses ZIP. The older ZIP drives and newer computers don't really get along too well. While I've converted my main gear to SD, there are a few components that I still need ZIP for. I got a ZIP 250 drive for free (uncle's job was throwing it out) and it does the job.
As far as the Sony tapes, looks like DV from the picture. I know some of those are worth more than others. People still use them on camcorders and (I think) certain voice recorders.

It depends on the type of tapes, some are worth a lot and others very little. They pretty much have to be new to be worth anything. The Metal tapes are usually worth a lot, Chrome tapes can sometimes be worth something depending on which ones, and normal ones aren't usually worth that much. I know a guy who's into audio stuff so I've been keeping an eye out for certain blank tapes. I just pick up normal tapes for myself as long as they're a quarter each or less as we still use them.
Looking closely you actually have video tape instead of audio. These I avoid as they're mostly worth very little. I see one like yours that sold on ebay overseas for $15 as a buy it now, and they're about $22 on Amazon. Maybe you could get $10 each, I still wouldn't bother buying them for myself as I don't see too many people being interested in them. More people are into older audio than older video.

Yeah, it might be because of my screen resolution. I noticed they said Sony DV and just assumed they were audio, I looked more closely and saw the model number so I did a search and saw they were really for video.

Star Trek - The Astral Symphony
Star Trek VI - The Undiscovered Country soundtrack
Star Trek TV Soundtrack volume two
Science Fiction - Music from the Movies and TV Volumes 1 and 2
Oscar De La Hoya
... yeah so I couldn't resist buying that last one. It'll be displayed proudly next to my Shaquille O'Neal and Hulk Hogan albums. And by that I mean I'll put it in a box and hide it from everyone. :P

A friend that moved to Cali found this stash in his storage locker. If you went to the place I'm thinking of last time I was there around a month ago I saw a bunch of Metroid Fusion and Star Fox Adventure guides at a dollar each. I scooped two Metroid guides, kept one and sold the other. That location somehow seems good for reading material although I cannot really complain overall anyway, if anything it's just slow.

I forgot about those, it is the same place and I bought one of the Metroid Fusion guides in case I pick up the game at some point. They also had a bunch of Lord of the Rings guides for some game, there's a few of these left. It's weird, for awhile they started pricing strategy guides at $3.99 and up but just gave up on it recently, the pricing doesn't stay stable on anything. Still they do seem to get good stuff every so often as I keep finding one or two things every other week or so, still nowhere near what I used to find there years ago. There's currently some crappy sealed CD-i games there for $2.99 each and they've been there awhile, maybe you saw them there too.

I hit up the little, once a month, flea market near me and scored pretty good today. I was walking by a table of Hot Wheels cars and saw a couple stacks of Game Boy Advance games on the table. They were all complete except for two. I dug through the piles and found 2 that I wanted for my 6 year old grandson. He is moving away next week and since most of the games that he plays on his DS are mine, I thought that I would try to find some for him. The two that I picked out were Madagascar and Pixar's Cars. When I asked the price for the two I was told, "$1 each or 3 for $2." I ended up getting all 17 that they had, (15 complete and 2 loose), for $10. The titles are:
Complete:
Madagascar
Cars
Ratatouille
Ultimate Spider-Man
Finding Nemo
Monster House
Hot Wheels - All Out
Shrek 2
March of the Penguins
Hot Wheels Velocity & World Race (2 pack)
Monster Trucks
The Incredibles - Rise of the Underminer
Thunderbirds
Matchbox Air and Sea Rescue & Emergency Response (2 pack)
Board Game Classics
Loose:
Scooby-Doo! Mystery Mayhem
Need For Speed Underground
Obviously some young kid's collection, but my grandson will love them. In fact, he is playing Madagascar right now and the music is already getting on my nerves.

I stopped into a Big Lots type store called Ollie's and found The Sega Genesis Classic Collection: Gold Edition on PC for $4.99. I had been eying the game at Half Price Books for a while now but held off on buying for whatever reason. HPB wanted $10 for theirs which isn't a bad price at all but I guess my procrastination paid off. :)
Last week I was in a Gamestop well out of my way and picked up the game Dawn of Heroes on DS. When I got home, I realized the guy put the game Dawn of Discovery in the case. :| I wasn't able to get back up there till today and had to return a copy of My Chinese Coach which I accidentally ended up with a 2nd copy of. Luckily for me, that location had a used copy of My French Coach in stock which was the same price so I was able to swap the two games at no extra cost. :)

This isn't gaming related and is probably of interest to only me and a few users around here, but I'm working a convention this weekend and got an autographed photo of Robert Axelrod.

That guy is awesome I got his signature here last year at our convention I work for Anime Festival Orlando.
We also had
Jason David Frank (Which we have every year for the past 5 years.)
Johnny Yong Bosch
and this year we had Jason Narvy
All very cool people to talk to.

I'm shocked that you didn't even mention the DVD of Jeckyll and Hyde starring David Hasselhoff. I really wish, for our sakes, that you would create a movie review thread for these kinds of finds. Just thinking about sitting down and watching that flick sets off some kind of primal fear reaction in me, but maybe you're made of sterner stuff. Your brain can, in essence, take the hit for the rest of us. Mix in some music reviews, too, since your CD purchasing taste is so much broader than most of us.

Gonna be honest here.
I was planning to start a video review thing a couple of years ago, right before the big Easter earthquake hit California. (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?140138-So-I-want-to-do-reviews-on-Youtube) After that things just went south, my father passed away, and I stopped being interested. One of my sisters gave me a decent digital camera as a gift a couple of months ago and ... well, I want to start doing video reviews of stuff. Games, music, and movies. Lord knows I have more than enough material to choose from. Or just talk about some of the things I've picked up, like that Chinese Sora no Kiseki The 3rd, or my bootleg Pink Floyd CD called The Final Cat. I just don't know where to start.
Or have the balls to show up on camera, especially considering how many people seem to hate my guts for no reason.

Way behind as I've both been busy and haven't had much in the way of finds.
During vacation last month I visited my old stomping grounds in an attempt to locate my favorite vendor whom I haven't seen in almost a year now. No dice. I think he finally packed it up and took off, even his big storefront at the local market is occupied by someone else now. I didn't find much but these days coming out of there with anything is doing good.

N64 - StarFox 64 (loose) - $5.00
PS1 - Board Game Top Shop (complete) - $5.00
PS1 - DualShock controllers (x2), loose copies of Blaster Master Blasting Again, Spyro Year of the Dragon, Pac-Man World - $7.00
Mattel Classic Football - $1.00
I pick up primer N64 games when I can find them for $5.00 or under as they make bundles. I've been looking for a copy of Board Game Top Shop that ISN'T SEALED for years. It seems every copy I come across that is for sale is sealed and the seller wants $20+ for it because of that. PS1 stuff was in a bag with a PS1 system that was too dirty and beat up to warrant cleaning. I was really after the controllers which are in really nice shape except for a slightly worn stick on one.

Evangelion Perfect Collection was $30.00 at a used music store in downtown Santa Cruz. The discs are immaculate but a couple of the DVD inserts have moisture damage and as can be seen the outer box has some pretty heavy wear. Not the best way to watch the series but I remember when this thing was worth its weight in gold and for $30.00 I couldn't let it sit there and collect dust.

My lone purchase from California Extreme 2012 as most of the vendors were asking crazy prices for their stuff. Really nice condition Hang-On marquee, $10.00. It cleaned up well and really looks great. Speaking of the show though I want to know when common arcade game manuals and other assorted docs suddenly got so valuable. Over the past few shows most people selling would tell you to make a pile and they would give you a price, usually $5.00 - $10.00. This year however, most of the docs STARTED at $20.00 ... EACH. Sorry, no one is going to dig through boxes of dusty manuals at that price.
I almost didn't go to the electronics flea market this past Saturday. In fact right up until late Friday night I wasn't going to go but eventually I convinced myself to get my ass up Saturday morning.

There was a whole lot of nothing there to be honest, even for the salvage hounds. The gauges were $0.25 each and the switches were $1.00 each. This is actually the type of stuff I was hoping to find as they're for a functioning cosplay prop. Well, as functional as a control panel that really doesn't do anything can be. On the way out I spotted the Apple II Unidisk drive for $5.00. The guy who sold it to me labeled it a $5.00 paperweight but it looks pretty clean. I only have one 5 1/4" drive for my IIgs. I bought it without an 5 1/4" drives but "stole" one from my Enhanced IIe which I later got rid of. I'm good to go with drives for the IIgs now with a pair of 5 1/4" Unidisks, an AppleDisk 3.5" and a Unidisk 3.5"
The most memorable thing at the market this month was the liar selling the Atari stuff. Guy had a boxed Tele-Games Pong, nice condition, optional power adapter, all documentations, foam in good shape, box in decent shape. We went back and forth talking about it with me asking how much he was looking to get three separate times. I popped open the battery door and there wasn't any evidence that it was subject to leaky batteries but there was noticeable oxidation on the terminals from more modern batteries. While I was doing this he said that it worked fine and that there isn't any oxidation. LIE #1. Then he started talking about eBay and how on there the one with more games (a Super Pong by his description) goes for $80.00 at the lowest so this one is worth more. LIES #2 and #3. I asked about the price yet again and he proceeded to continue to talk about everything but. I told him I wouldn't pay more than $20.00 tops and was getting ready to move along. He then asked me if I had "one of these" and motioned to a loose Jaguar he had with a Cybermorph cartridge in it. I told him that I did years ago but got out of it. I asked if he had any of the cabling or anything else and he said he didn't have any "cables or paddles" and picked it up so he could give me his lines about how valuable it is. As he did this I saw the Cybermorph controller overlay tapped to the bottom. He then began to talk about how they're so hard to find and that not many were made and how "this game right here, on eBay, is the premier title and goes for $40.00 to start." LIES #4 and #5. At this point I just kind of laughed and walked away as I hadn't made my first complete pass through the market left and had other stuff to do during the morning. However if I had a free day and had already done a couple laps I would have asked him the price and history of absolutely every item he had just to waste his time. It's great that he's out supporting amateur radio by selling at the market but the electronics flea market is the flea market of the jawa. It's salvage city, which is why it's so hard to find stuff sometimes, because everyone goes there expecting to dig. Not the place to ask 3x boutique price for niche items with questionable histories.

Not really a find per se, but I did get something in the mail. What was it? Dr Mario for the NES. Here's the story:
On July 19 I sold the game Yoshi for the NES. Today I received Dr. Mario with the note "this was bought as a gift by *name* but it does not fit my Gamecube, please give *name* a refund". So not only did they not know that an NES game does not fit in a Gamecube, they also do not know how to do refunds on Amazon. On top of that they spent over $3 mailing it back to the wrong address.

Haven't posted in a while, but haven't been on the lookout for much lately. I picked up three games for $1 each at Office Depot today. Mercenaries 2, UFO Afterlight, and Earth 2160. All were distributed by a company called Cosmi and are in CD-style cases. How strange. Wholesaler or something?

Nope, Cosmi Corporation has been around for a very, very long time. They've been selling stuff since the C64 days -at least-. I bought a few EA games at my dollar store a while ago, and all were distributed by Cosmi.
They make budget releases of games for lots of companies, and also sell shareware stuff, those weird "100000 games and more!" packs that are sold at Wal-Mart, clip art and font collections, office template sets, etc.
Edit: I just visited their website, they bought ValuSoft from THQ. That was their flagship budget brand for years...

Gran Turismo 4 Prologue was $4.99 at a Salvation Army. Mega Man X Collection was $3.99 at a Goodwill; it was the first find of the day and a harbinger of good things to come. :)

Hey, Mercs 2 is definitely worth a buck. These three were the only things of value, the rest was all weird shareware stuff. Office Depot always has weird stuff.
