I was wondering if the XBOX game saves that I can't transfer via memory card are because of the capacity of the card I'm using, or because some game saves simply aren't transferable.
The memory card that I have is a MadCatz one with 502 blocks of storage. I know that some games like Otogi: Myth of Demons have MASSIVE save files (for reasons I don't understand), but there are other games that don't appear to have as large save files, but I couldn't transfer them. Now, I'm going from memory here on some of this, and the s/o is borrowing my power cord for my XBOX downstairs at the moment (which has the saves I want to transfer on it) so I can't test this right now, but I believe that I couldn't transfer my Silent Hill 4: The Room save to my memory card, and I'm wondering if it was a capacity thing, or if certain XBOX games just don't allow transfers at all without a mod/hack/get around.
If it's a capacity thing, were there higher capacity memory cards available for the XBOX?
After finishing (and thoroughly enjoying) Silent Hill: Origins I want to finally slog through the rest of Silent Hill 4: The Room, but I don't want to do it on the downstairs console because my OCD wants the save file to live on the upstairs unit. The older downstairs one is there exclusively for playing Fusion Frenzy with my other half...I'm not even kidding. :|
Thanks in advance guys, and thanks again for the advice on Wii game save transfers the other week!
