new super mario bros wii discontinued?

Does any one know if nintendo has discontinued new super mario bros wii? I work at a retail store and they havent gotten any in since november and I see that amazon only has it from private sellers. It also isn't in stock at any walmarts or kmarts near me and all the gamestop stores within 100 miles come up as low stock/call ahead. Seems pretty odd and I still nedd to grab a backup copy since its my 2nd favorite wii game. Thanks

Even if it is, I imagine it would be temporary until the inevitable Nintendo Selects rerelease hits. If they continue that program for 2013 with several more waves of rereleases, I'd be shocked if this one wasn't included.

It's one of the best selling Wii games. I doubt Nintendo will discontinue it anytime soon. Hell, New Super Mario Bros. on the DS is still on shelves.

Speaking of that game, I just recently played it again to go back and get all the star coins I never cared about and it actually still holds up well to the others in the series even though it lacks the interesting inclusion of the koopalings which gave the Wii version much of its hype. I can totally see why the DS game is also still available.
