local guy has one for only $250 but all I can think of playing is nintendo land and mario bros 2 not sure its worth it yet.

Myself personally, with both PS4 and Infinity coming in November, it's going to take a serious 1, 2 punch to get me to get a Wii U. Several times I almost purchased a Wii U on Craigslist in February, but ended up just missing out on getting one. At the time I was disappointed, but now I think I lucked out, because no games have come out yet that are really calling my name. It's going to take a full $100 price drop, as well as a super amazing game to get me to jump on the bandwagon. If the 3D Mario game is everything it "could" be, and a $100 price drop happens by late August, I could end up at the stores buying one. But it's going to really take that combination. One without the other isn't going to cut it.

Now, in a normal year, without the PS4 or Infinity coming out, that would be different, but there is only so much money that can be spent. I know I'm not going to buy all 3 systems. Not for a couple of years at least... I'm guessing.

Remember, the 3DS got a price drop from $250 to $170 I believe... within FOUR MONTHS of poor sales. WiiU sales in January were downright horrible, the Xbox360 sold 8x as many units in January I believe. The price drop is right around the corner, you'll see it before summer I bet.

After seeing some of the games coming out for it at E3, I've decided to get one. I hope this is just a taste of things to come. I still don't see the third party support that Nintendo desperately needs, but with enough good first party games, I'm on board.

I doubt you're ever going to see it, just like the Wii and the Gamecube before that. But atleast you'll get all of their first party offerings.

I've been in since the beginning because I know the games will be there eventually. Plus, I have to play every new 2D Mario game immediately upon release. I just wish we'd see a new F-Zero, Star Fox, and most importantly, a new Metroid... but not another Metroid Prime. Retro Studios has proven that they can do Metroid and 2D Donkey Kong Country. Now all they need to do is combine those two things into the most delicious HD 2D Metroid game imaginable. There's your killer app, Nintendo. Make it happen.

If Nintendo would do another sequel as good as F Zero X that'd be something, but I'm not really a fan of the rest of the games in the series. I thought GX was a bit disappointing.

I'd like to also see another Metroid, but if Nintendo wouldn't want to release a side scroller Metroid on consoles again, I'd rather have it on the 3DS where they'll more than likely make a side scroller. Hopefully with a 3D effect that is as high quality as Lords of Shadow Mirror of Fate.

Miyamoto has said repeatedly that he's out of ideas for F-Zero and I honestly wouldn't be shocked if he didn't really like the series much.

I've finally decided to get one after E3. Mega Man being in Smash Bros. pretty much sealed the deal for me, and the new 3D Mario and Mario Kart look really good too. I'm also looking forward to the new Donkey Kong Country, although I was disappointed that it turned out to be Retro's top secret game they've been working on, rather than a Star Fox sequel.

I'm not planning on buying a new Wii U though...I'm going to try to get a good deal on a slightly used one off of Ebay or Craigslist.
