Hey all,

I'm newly registered here, though I've been lurking off and on for a while. I've been a NES fan for over two decades, and I also happen to be a fairly prolific editorial personality in the U.S. gaming press. So there's my cred.

On to the point of this post: A lot of collector-focused NES rarity lists today suck. There just aren't a lot of good or up-to-date ones. Sure, we have stuff like NintendoAge's massive database, but there's a lack of super-convenient, well-researched, and compact reference tools to aid the modern NES collector.

So I've made one: The Geekbox's NES Collector List (http://www.geekbox.net/nes/).

My intention is to provide sound price-hunting guidelines based on quantifiable data, without requiring aspiring collectors to do a ton of independent research (you know, unless they want to). It's probably pretty basic for a lot of you hardcore folks here, but hopefully some people find it useful!

(Also, shameless plug: I produce a bunch of popular nerd-centric podcasts. You can listen to them on my site, too.)

The lists look pretty good.

Thanks for sharing!

I don't feel it should be in a GoogleDoc format. While there are advantages to use this format (easy to set-up, easy to distribute) I feel that if you want to expend on this you will hit a wall pretty fast.

My 2 cents.

First, thanks for sharing. My thoughts....the prices aren't on the same page, you have to go back and forth. Second, the prices are way too general. No way "Treasure Master" and "Qix" are on the same level. Just too wide of price range... $3 vs. $15.

Other than that, nice job and thanks again for sharing.
