For folks who have been to our previous shows, this year we have doubled our space, and we're back in the heart of Seattle! The Northwest Rooms are (shockingly) located in the Northwest corner of the Seattle Center, right next to the Queen Anne neighborhood.

SIFF Cinema is just a couple of blocks away. On Friday they'll be showing Ecstasy of Order, the Tetris documentary. On Saturday, they will debut the new documentary The Space Invaders in Search of Lost Time!
- Fri: Ecstasy of Order
- Sat: The Space Invaders in Search of Lost Time

Also running Saturday night, we've partnered with Dan from the Icarus Kids for Arcade Armageddon, a chiptunes concert featuring The Icarus Kids, Mega Ran, and Fighter X. Between the music, there will be an NES championship!
- The Icarus Kids
- Mega Ran
- Fighter X

And my Videogame Pub Quiz, The Question Block (which you can also play on the last Tuesday of every month at Wilde Rover in Kirkland) will be held on Saturday afternoon.

Pre-Registration is available at our website, http://www.seattleretro.org Tickets are $20 for the whole weekend.

The full schedule of events will be posted soon, and Gerald and I will check back periodically to answer any questions. Hope to see you there!

Unfortunately, for the first time since these events started, I won't be attending. The location is very off-putting since I'd either have to pay a bunch for parking, or roughly $10 for round trip transit while trying to carry my usual armloads of swag on the bus or train. Never underestimate the appeal of ample, close-by, free parking. And do I see that only 2-day passes are available?

Anyway, that's just me. Good luck with the expo and I hope everyone has a great time.

I hear you on the parking. It was very important for us to grow the show this year and Seattle Center (parking warts and all) was the best choice when considering all aspects of the show. For our preregistration, only 2 day passes are available. 1 Day passes will be sold at the door.

Do you have any friends you could carpool with?
Anyone else on here that can hook Wookie up with a ride??

Looking forward to going. Missed out last year due to work. Thankfully won't be an issue this year.
