Pulled out my Genesis today. It has been a while because I have been using my Retron 3.
Ain’t nothin like the real thang. :rocker:

Spent time with,
Gunstar Heroes
Panorama Cotton (Got a reproduction cart last week. Had to play it on the original. Know whut I mean?)
Contra Hard Corps
Vapor Trail
Bio Hazard Battle
Streets of Rage 3

Spent the day mostly reliving these moments. Crawled out thinkin it was the 90s again.

Played through Zelda II twice tonight for kicks, though it's one I've beaten dozens of times. Still holds up well, as the game has ridiculously good control. A buddy was trying to talk me into making a run without taking a single hit, but I don't think I can do that. I gave hime one life, but I'm not trying something so stupid as no damage.

Played through Time Soldiers on the cabinet in the morning, too. Finished on one credit as well, with a pretty decent score at 1,684,400. Definitely an all-time favorite arcade game for me.

I switched my Ninja Baseball Bat Man pcb to 2 player mode and put it in my one slot Neo Geo cabinet for awhile yesterday. Got to the end of the 4th level on one credit, which is probably about as good as I've done, having only played it a little. The fun part was afterward when my wife came downstairs and decided to try it, and really enjoyed it. That was fun.

Beyond that I've kinda been between games. Thinking of playing through Final Fantasy III (VI) on my SNES. It's been a couple of years, and it always felt like a winter game to me... probably because of Narshe.

Edit: Daryll, I ran Sengoku 3 for awhile last week on my multicart. No issue after letting it go for about three hours. I remembered you were looking into that, so I let it run during some Time Soldiers plays.

Thank you for doing that.. ...Reminds me I have to see what it does in my other MVS cabinet with standard USA Bios chip..I have a 161 in teo machines but the candy cabs 4 slot has an old uni bios chip that I think may cause issues with the cart..

Isn't it great when the wife enjoys a game ..I enjoy seeing her play more then playing myself..

Seems to be just something with my 161 cart or the old unibios chip in my 4 slot..
Yesterday I let the candy cabinet run,..I selected the first game in the line up I think it's SVC ,the cab cycled through for 20 minutes then locked up at the Neo Geo Splash screen...To get out of that I soft reset the system using the uni bios chip instead of turning the machine off...The cabinet did not lock up again after soft reset....I may try removing the three other carts in the mobo to see if the 161 locks up on it's own..I don't expect to much from these 161s hoping a cart comes out with all the neo games on it.

So far no issues with the 161 in 4 slot with USA standard bios ,plus 3 other carts in the mobo too..

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D (2DS in my case) - Really enjoying this game. I never cared for Ocarina of Time for whatever reason but I think I would have really liked this one if I played it years ago. I find the focus on the events surrounding a small community of people... I don't know, really like old school? Like something out of a SNES era RPG. Having a lot of fun with it.

Just started Boy and His Blob on the PSTV. I like what I'm playing so far, really dig these puzzle-platformers.

Vita's been getting some nice new releases recently. This game, Oddworld: New n Tasty, and Dariusburst Chronicles. Compare that to all the childish garbage junk being released on the 3DS lately.

Yakuza 5 (PS3) is pretty much the only thing I've been playing for the last few days. I finally finished off the final story chapter this week and am now working on the last few mini games & arena battles I need to complete to get 100% completion in the game (currently at 98% completion rate). If it weren't for me importing Yakuza 0 from Japan last year this'd have been my favourite game of the last year. So much fun and content packed into one game. Very tempted to jump straight onto the imported PS4 remake of Yakuza 1 when I'm done, but I'll probably take a break for a couple of months rather than getting burnt out on the series!

Retro wise I've been playing through Capcom's 1985 arcade releases. This week I finished off Section Z, an incredibly fun shoot em up game that didn't overstay its welcome. Its length and difficulty level were just right and the different obstacles over the 26 sections helped the game stay fresh for the duration.
I also had a quick play of the Famicom home ports of Exed Exes and Gun.Smoke which arrived this week. Exed Exes is bad, its slower than the arcade game (not entirely bad, as the arcade game was a tad too fast in places) but this game chugs along painfully slow. The game is also not smooth at all, sprites jerk across the screen uncomfortably and I was bored by the time I reached stage 4. Gun.Smoke is the complete opposite. It looks and runs amazingly well and I much prefer it to the arcade version, which in my opinion was too difficult for its own good in later stages.

How is Boy and His Blob for the Vita? Is it a decent port (no frame rate issues etc.)? I've been meaning to pick the game up but grabbed the Limited Edition release of Darius for the Vita instead (which I don't regret, that game is great fun on the handheld!)

Just finished Kirby Dreamland for the Gameboy the other day, making my way through 2.
Playing Pokemon Blue in Japanese where I'm trying bloody hard to find a damn jigglypuff amongst all these pidgeys and spearows.
Touched DQM2 on Gameboy as well to try and grind my monsters while replenishing my draining herb supply.
Let's not forget about HP & The Chamber of Secrets for the Gameboy, took awhile to get around it, but I'm finally grinding.

Today was a big tournament day at my house, and it was a great time. I don't play in it when I host these, but my friends found out that they were more into some games than they expected. Some of the big hits were Salamander (PCE), Prehistoric Isle 2 (MVS), Devastators (arcade), Ninja Commando (arcade), 'Nam 1975 (AES), and Wetrix (N64).

Afterward, I got to play some Rampart (SNES) with my brother, which was fun, even if I was pretty rusty.

I didn't notice any framerate issues. Some control problems though. Analog instead of dpad character control. I prefer digital pads with 2D platformers. Some unresponiveness when picking beans in the quick-menu. Could be the pstv, though.

I wanted to snag Dariusburst when it was on sale a couple weeks ago. But Sony's store was jacked up, couldn't access it. Looks like a great shmup, just way too expensive for a download.

My 3DS XL was out of commission for a few days while my husband repaired a small crack in the hinge. (Didn't send it to Ninty because it's a Pikachu version with only 1 small issue, VERY out of warranty. For $100 and no guarantee of getting a Pika 3DS back? No thanks.)

So lately I've been playing DS games.

Retro Game Challenge 2 (original Japanese version: Game Center CX - Arino no Chousenjou 2)

I really wish RGC2 would have gotten a Western release, but XSeed made it clear they would have lost their collective shirt on localization and licensing costs. I'm using a FAQ that translates the challenges so I can at least :bullshit:my way through it and unlock the games to play for as long as I want.

Analogue only control is a shame, I always prefer digital for 2D games as well. And yeah, Darius is an awesome game on the Vita but the price could have definitely been better. I'm a collector though so I was always going to snag the game at launch... Not that I really regret it, its absolutely brilliant fun to play!

Anyway, this week I've been playing through Commando for the NES. I've got mixed feelings on this one. It runs really smooth and has great controls but the screen flicker/judder is really bad (distractedly so at first) so bullets would disappear but still kill me which was incredibly frustrating. Plus I didn't really care for the game looping the same four levels four times. Its far from a bad port, but the above issues prevented me from enjoying it more. At least its better than the Amiga port, with sluggish controls and questionable collision detection, topped off with a slow pace.

I've since quit ABAHB due to a game breaking glitch that pissed me off. In the 2nd House world when you're falling down the last level to meet the boss, the game freezes with error message. It was such a glitch that I had to delete the file and redownload the game, it would not open back up no matter what I tried. Couldn't even upload my save data because of an error message.

I've read somewhere else that the Wii version had a similar bug. So yeah, fuck Wayforward for this one. Apparently it's en vogue to release broken games now. It's basically a crime to take peoples money without giving them what they pay for, so how are game developers any different? I'm oh so close to saying fuck videogames forever and looking into a substitute hobby.

Been playing lots of Black Tiger, Time Soldiers, and TMNT arcade games in the last week. Just some tried and true favorites while I haven't had a lot of free time. I also play each Game of the Day before I post it, but I've really been in an arcade-y mood lately. I usually do more RPGs and the like in the summer months when I take vacation weeks.

Also, finally tried out Rambo on PS3 last night. It's simple, but I liked it a lot both because it's Rambo and because it has a very arcade-like feel to it. Far from perfect, but way more fun than any reviews would let you believe.

I don't usually do these threads, but I've gone off the rails and while fairly modern (yet not, twice over) I'm trying something new and seeing if I like it -- Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition off of GoG for Windows. It's quite different than anything I've tried out before, it really is that old paper and pencil game brought to animated life. Around that got the Anno pack for 1701(liked it on DS) too and a large pile of other deals off their Insomnia sale as well. I'm going to try and dig more into PC gaming considering how most things Nintendo has gone, though I do have a new supply of all versions Gameboy games to meddle with too lately.

Working on my Capcom playthrough, currently working through their arcade games released in '87. Today I finished Tiger Road and Bionic Commando (via the Capcom Classics Collections on the PS2). Tiger Road was a really nice surprise, never having played the game before I immediately took a shining to the game and ended up playing it through several times this morning. Its got a fairly decent difficulty curve (tough, but fair especially if you get the powerups from the training stages). That second boss though can be a little bastard with his one hit kill move!

Bionic Commando I felt was a game that could have been great but the enemy spawning/placement made the game unduely difficult at points - nothing worse than getting stuck below several enemies, mechs and those annoying flying jet enemies that drop bombs... Otherwise I loved the game. The bionic arm mechanic rocks and I love the sense of progression you get from one level to the next (it really does feel like your infiltrating the enemy base one level at a time... I still definitely prefer the NES version which fixed several issues I had with the game, and I just feel that the levels as a whole are tighter compared to the arcade game.

Gosh, it's been forever since I've posted in one of these topics. About time I rectify that.

Up until a few days ago, I had been focusing on clearing more routes in Norn9: Var Commons on Vita. I'm halfway through Heishi's right now, but then Ozmafia came out on PC and took my attention away from it. As far as I can tell, I'm still on the common route in Ozmafia, but I'm aiming to get on Caramia's route first. No particular reason why, just because he's the first character listed on the screen where you can pick who you want the heroine to hang out with. Plus I'm interested in finding out how the whole love triangle thing works for the Oz members. It's been good so far, but feels slightly less polished than the other otome visual novels I've played over the last year or so. I mean, it's kind of, sort of an indie game, so it makes sense. The biggest thing that stands out in that regard is that a fair chunk of the dialogue is unvoiced, which is a little jarring coming off of something like Norn9 where even the heroines are fully voiced.

Other than those, I've finally had the time to do some cleaning and testing of games I've had sitting around for months. I still have a few Secret Santa games I've yet to play, so I messed around in Vegas Dream on NES for a bit, mostly playing Blackjack. Then I pulled out some imports I had bought myself back in Fall. I played some Puyo Puyo~n Party and Doubutsu no Mori on N64. Well, more like I just wandered around in Doubutsu no Mori, haha. I've never played an Animal Crossing game before, so I have even less of a clue what I'm doing trying out one in Japanese. Then I played a little of Super Gussun Oyoyo and Mystic Ark on my SNES. But what's been a really special experience for me is that I've been playing something of a personal holy grail to me, the Chrono Trigger pre-release demo cart, which was only sent out to Japanese reviewers and retailers back in the day. By pure dumb luck, I stumbled across a copy a few months ago and actually managed to buy it at a decent price. So far I tried starting a new game and playing till Frog appears, which is the first cut-off point. The demo also has three built in files to see some other sections of the game. I then played through the first, which goes from the trial to fighting the Dragon Tank. I haven't seen too much that differs from the final release, though I admittedly haven't played through the game in many years, as dear as it is to me (but I did play it to death as a teenager, so I think I have most everything burned into my memory pretty well). From what I understand, the most striking differences are things you can't access through normal playing of the demo, but rather by hacking the ROM to walk through walls and such. But no matter, just owning this little piece of history alone is enough to make me very happy. :)

Thank you for posting..
...I really enjoy reading what others are playing and it often leads me to new games I'd like to try myself..

I just got a stack of used Dreamcast games ,a few were polished and didn't work for the seller but work for me Yay..

also testing out a SNES Battle Clash game also stated to not be working..

Thanks! I enjoy reading about what everybody else is playing too. :) I just gotta get myself to remember to check and post in this topic like I used to, haha.

I'm still trudging along in Ozmafia on PC. I completed Caramia and Axel's routes, but I didn't get the best ending in either. Then I did Scarlet's route two times over, getting the better ending the second time. I just finished Pashet's route, but I didn't get her best ending either, so I'm midway through another playthrough. I'm getting the impression that it's impossible to get the best ending the first time through a route, but I dunno, maybe that's just how my luck has gone. I do know that you get extra scenes when doing a route the second time over, so it does seem like you're intended to do each route at least twice, so getting the best ending off the bat would be counterintuitive to that. I really had to drag myself through Pashet's route once I got to the point where you'd normally get a love confession on other routes. It felt like a big cop-out and killed my motivation to see what the rest of the route had to offer. Though there was a hilarious bit of dialogue after the credits that ALMOST made it worth it. For the second time through, I'm just skipping everything I already read of course, but hopefully the extra scenes will be amusing and the better ending will keep my interest because I just want to finish with Pashet and move on to a different character.

Other than that, I've been playing Adventures of Mana on Vita, which Square Enix quietly released just the other day. I'm not that crazy about buying games digitally, especially on Vita, since I have a small memory card, but it's small, priced fairly, and I couldn't resist a chance to finally play the first Mana. Unlike Sword of Mana, Adventures of Mana is a very faithful remake of Final Fantasy Adventure, or so I've heard at least. Basically the same game but in 3D. I'd still like to play the original Game Boy version someday, and Sword of Mana too, for that matter, but I've been having fun with it. And I just did the "palm trees and 8" part that infuriated gamers back in the day, haha. I remember reading about that multiple times over in Nintendo Power, and it's funny that their coverage is finally proving useful to me all these years later with a brand new version of the game.

I've been playing The Evil Within (XBOX360 version) for the past few months. I only play a little on the weekend, and not every weekend, which is why it's taking me so long to get through it. That, and because this game is legitimately disturbing. I straight up have to play this shit during daylight hours. It scares a hell out of me.

Alienation. Didn't get the game until now because there's been no physical release until the Asian version recently released. It's like Destiny with the primary, secondary, and heavy weapons, but it's much more tuned to Diablo than Destiny is. Enemies are in groups more often, much like Diablo, health comes from random life drops on the field, although the classes have some abilities that can heal themselves, and weapons stats/slots have a lot more RNG. So far liking the game a lot, although based on how many missions I've finished after a few hours, not sure how much longer it'll be. Not sure how much replay value it has, but won't know that until I finish it.

I've barely touched Ozmafia on PC since my last post, but I did read a few of the extra scenes in Pashet's route. It's nice to see a lot of Bercy this time since he was mentioned in passing but barely seen before. It's also hilarious seeing Pashet interact with the brothel guys.

Mostly, I'm just focusing on Adventures of Mana on Vita. I gotta be close to the end of the game now, maybe even in the final dungeon, I dunno. I got every spell, and my weapons menu is filled up, though the Rusty Sword has yet to change. I still haven't gotten the trophies for collecting one of every piece of armor and consumable item either. I've also filled in the entire world map, though right now I'm cut off from access to it.

I've been playing Mighty No 9 for quite a bit last week. Its rough round the edges but I've really enjoyed it. Managed to get all the trophies (which involved playing it through many times, sometimes without dying...) so I'm taking a break before going back to the Ray DLC.

I'm now working on Bloodborne (PS4) and Odin Sphere (Vita). I've only beaten 2 bosses so far on BB but I'm really loving it so far. The combat feels really solid and I love the enemy/boss designs that I've encountered so far.
Odin Sphere is awesome as well, I'm onto the third character story which it turns out is a nice change of pace compared to the last two characters. I'm really liking the combat and boss encounters in this game as well, plus it looks wonderful on my Vita's screen. Having never played the PS2 version of this game I'm really glad I gave this remaster a chance as its been great fun so far :)

Welcome back Spaz. :)

Thanks to it being relatively easy and quick to get in Adventures of Mana on Vita, I just got my first ever platinum. :D That was a fun little game, but now it's time to move on to something else.

Speaking of which, I'm finally moving on from Pashet's route in Ozmafia on PC too. I had a hell of a time trying to get her best ending. I think maybe next I'll tackle Robin Hood's.

So put 20 hours into Alienation with one character, it's a good game, but because it doesn't have the amount of content as Diablo and the only thing that's been left for me to do after hitting level 30 is grinding for the best level 30 legendaries(which I've got one 12 slot primary weapon,) or grinding for cores to combine and make level six cores, it's starting to get a bit too repetitive to keep going. It doesn't have the amount of content with the amount of different class builds Diablo 3 has because of the many different legendary weapons you can get, or even Destiny for that matter. What it does have is fun, but those two games are better games simply because you can enjoy them for much longer. Diablo 2 and 3 can be enjoyed for several hundreds of hours, while I've only put in 30 hours into Destiny myself, the main game plus a few end game raids, a bit of pvp multiplayer, I know atleast one person who has played Destiny since it launched. So Alienation is a good game, but don't expect it to carry your attention that long after you finish.

I did start Robin Hood's route in Ozmafia on PC like I was thinking about, and my enthusiasm for the game has been renewed. He's a pretty enigmatic character, so that's keeping me motivated to get further and learn more, even if the big mystery of what's behind that plague mask is over, haha.

I also decided to start up Corpse Party. It's the PSP version, but I'm playing it on my Vita. I've been reading the manga, so before I spoil even more of the story for myself, I want to finally get around to playing the game. I've played games with horror elements before, but I think this will be my first time playing all the way through a true blue horror game. So far it's not particularly scary or exciting, since I have a general idea of what's going to happen, although knowing some events to come does give me a general sense of dread about certain rooms, haha. Even though I had wanted to play this game sooner than later, I kinda wish I never bought the PSP release so that I could've just waited for the 3DS release this August and own a physical copy of the game in English, but oh well. I bought the PSP version on sale anyway, so it was only like 10 bucks. I just hate buying games digitally when I could be getting them physically.

I think I'm pretty deep into Robin Hood's route in Ozmafia on PC now, but it's hard to say. Its plot twists have been a little too predictable so far, but it's still been enjoyable.

In Corpse Party on my Vita, I've now cleared the equivalent of the first two manga volumes. Or in other words, I'm in Chapter 2, having just gained control of Yoshiki. Now to just play however far it takes to clear the equivalent of the third and fourth manga volumes, and I'll finally start to see unfamiliar story content. It's kinda weird how the game is split up into completely separate chapters, in that your save file doesn't even carry over from one to the next. Not that it seems like there would be any benefit in that, since items you acquire are used up in the chapter they're found. It seems like the chapters are designed to be replayed, though, so it makes sense. I missed one of the bad ends in Chapter 1, and I can think of a few things that I could've done differently (a couple dialogue options, and I could've placed the board to head north rather than south), so I'll try that later.

My Vita copy of Xeodrifter from Limited Run Games arrived yesterday (along with my PS4 copies of Xeodrifter and Lost Sea, but I have no PS4 to play them on yet), and I think I'll make that my first LRG release that I play through to completion. I hear it's really short, so it shouldn't get in the way of the other games I'm playing. Heck, for all I know, I may already be halfway through it. I've heard some complaints about it, but honestly, I don't see much in the way of issues. It's not amazing or anything, and it's certainly not very creative or innovative, since it's a blatant Metroid clone, but it plays pretty well and I'm having fun with it. I gotta say, I'm disappointed in the manual, though, as silly as that is to complain about. I was excited to have my first US Vita game with a true blue manual, and I read it completely before I started playing, but the writing is so pretentious and pinky up that I was just rolling my eyes the whole time. Towards the end, there's a part that's like journal entries that has a much more casual tone, so I guess the prior pretentiousness was an attempt to make it sound scientific and intellectual, but I think it falls flat and comes off simply like the writer wants to show off how obtusely they can present the story and information.

Modern gaming wise I've been playing lots of Bloodborne over the last couple of weeks. Managed to finish the game off at the beginning of the week, and have dived straight into the DLC. Absolutely loved the game, the challenge, the enemies, bosses etc. All of that was very much to my liking. I always ended up coming back for more even after dying several times in one area!

Retro wise I'll be getting back to Thunderbirds (Amiga) tomorrow, its possibly the oldest unfinished game I have, and I've been meaning to finish it for ages. So this week I plan to finally rectify that mistake.

I'm still working on Pokemon Crystal. Trying to get one of every Pokemon you can get in the game without trading. Once I reach that point I'll play Gold and Silver some more to get the stuff I need to get all 249 regularly obtainable Pokemon.

On my commutes to and from work I am also filling my Pokemon bank with monthly downloadable mythical Pokemon by starting Pokemon Y over and over. When it's a month where you need a download card with a code, I just visit multiple Gamestops or go to the same one on days where different employees are working to get one more card. I usually end up with about 7 of those. That way they can have different natures. I figure if I get enough then I'll have enough to transfer to each different version of the game. When Sun and Moon come out there will be 6 of them for 3DS.

I also have Pokemon X version which I will be using as my first main file of the generation, but I am staying at the Pokemon center in the first town until I beat all the older games first. At this point in the game, that version can receive one of each mythical Pokemon as well.

Welp, I must've had a knack for picking the relatively upbeat routes in Ozmafia on PC previously because I fully completed Robin Hood's and did my first run through Soh's, and both had pretty heartbreaking bad endings, as much as they try to put a positive spin on things with the bonus scenes after the credits roll. And even Robin Hood's good ending was pretty depressing. His route got real weird real fast the first time through, and just got darker from there, but things made more sense, and were less creepy, the second time through with the added scenes. Oof, those added scenes, though. What's weird about Robin Hood's route is that the added scenes appear even past the split between the good and bad endings. So if you get the bad ending the first time through (which, as far as I can tell, may be automatic), you still have to play through and get the bad ending again to see all his scenes. That worked for me since I struggled to get his good ending, anyway, but that final added scene is a gutwrencher, and assuming you're skipping everything you've already read, it's the last thing you'll see on that run. What a way to end the route, geez. Anyway, now I'm sad over Soh's route, haha. He's such an upbeat character that I thought he'd be nice and light after how heavy Robin Hood's route got, but nope. Early in the route, all it did was make me hungry because practically every scene was at his food cart, haha, but that bad ending didn't play around. Now let's hope the good ending makes up for it. (Though, really, I like sad and dark visual novels too, so I'm not complaining. I wouldn't want every single route to be cloyingly happy.)

I also finished Xeodrifter on Vita since my last post and kinda sorta got back to Corpse Party, but I've barely been touching that. As pathetic as it is to admit, I've gotten stuck in Chapter 2, despite that I'm familiar with this part of the story from the manga. I replayed Chapter 1, trying to get the ending I missed, but I had no luck with that. I also started Chapter 2 over from scratch, doing a few things differently, but I got stuck again just the same. I did the first Extra chapter and got its ending, but now there's nothing I can do but try to explore and examine everything I can access in Chapter 2.

Lastly, I've gotten mildly obsessed with Pokemon Go like the rest of the world, haha. I'm the laziest Pokemon trainer, though, since I've caught all but one of my 30 so far from home, haha. Now I'm totally out of Pokeballs, though, so I definitely have to play it outside to continue.

Huh. Apparently, that ending I got in Soh's route in Ozmafia WAS his good ending, which not only disproves my theory that good endings can't be obtained the first time through, but is also a real shocker. Man, that route was a mindfuck. Both endings have some big mysteries that go unanswered, and it's a tragic ending no matter what, just in two opposite ways. I'd argue that the course of events leading to the bad ending is nigh incomprehensible it's so disjointed. I wonder if the epilogue/grand finale that comes after seeing everybody's endings will explain something here or if the writing just kind of fell apart. Well, it was still an interesting route overall, but urgh, I should know better than to trust upbeat characters, haha. VN scriptwriters just love to lead you into a false sense of security and then jab the knife into your chest.

Been playing a lot of WoW lately, but thought I'd take a break to work on some of the rather large pile of PS3/PS4/PSN/VITA games I have piled up.
To that end, been working on completing LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Most LEGO games are great, but TT really shines when they have control of the Star Wars property. Once again I sort of wish they'd back off of the creative maps and just make more levels, but people love free roam these days.

Guerrilla War arcade. Hooked up the pcb and started playing it in my Time Soldiers cabinet. I like Time Soldiers better, with its 12 position rotation as opposed to Guerrilla War's 8, and Time Soldiers has a more elegantly designed power-up system, but it's a nice change of pace to take Guevara and Castro out to the killing fields. Cool graphics, and definitively more of an Ikari Warriors feel. The NES version is cool as well, but I've been learning this one, as the way grenades work and their range takes some getting a feel for it.

Also tried out Baby Jo the Superhero on PC Engine CD. Very sluggish, like a crummier Chuck Rock II: Son of Chuck. Underwhelming.

Also learning Shounin Yo! on Super Famicom. It's a board game built around carrying cargo to sell at different ports to get loads of cash. Some light RPG battles now and then as well. Definitely more linear than a Momotaro Dentetsu or Hyokkori Hyoutan Jima or Monster Paradise. I'll have fun with it one day with my brother.

I've been playing Sins of a Solar Empire on the PC. The game requirements are a 2.2 Ghz Core2Duo, but it was a bit too much for my old Q9650 rig. I've been playing it on my 4790K rig, because there was too much slowdown on the older setup.
