Hello All,

I just hooked my Atari 5200 up for the first time since I got it. Boy was I amazed at how bad the joysticks are. I've read about the analog sticks and how a few games aren't even really playable with them. I wanted to ask if there are other joysticks that are made for the 5200 that respond better than the standard 5200 sticks. The current set I have were recently repaired with new parts and work fine in that respect. It’s just that the over all control of the stick is horrible. If there are other sets that reduce or eliminate the horrid response of the typical sticks please let me know.

Thanks
John

If you're handy with electronics you could build a "y" adapter. One connector would be used for 52090 controller fo0r the number pad and the top row button while other end can be used with your favorite PC controller.

Hey John,

you have a couple of options, you can try to get your hands on a Masterplay inteface or a Wico stick off eBay (pricey) or you can get this new Dual Shock interface (also pricey) or you can contact my buddy Charles over at www.voltman3.com and see if he'd be willing to help you out.
