Tecmo Bowl & R.B.I. Baseball tournament: Omaha, Nebraska

> 3rd annual tournament held Saturday March 24th @ BigWay Burger on 72nd street.
> Tecmo Bowl @ noon, R.B.I. Baseball @ 6PM
> Entry Fee: $15 for either game, or enter both for $25.
> Cash prizes to top 5 players, and 1st place wins a trophy.
> Military ID receives $5 off either price.

100% of fees collected go to payouts.
For the out of town people, Omaha is hosting the NCAA basketball sweet 16/Elite 8 the day before and after the tournament.
Wife and kids can hit the zoo/botanical center/etc while you play on Saturday

> Tourney Format: Tourney opens with 3 games of group play. Results from the 3 games determine seeding for the tournament.
Tournament will be capped with top 24 players from group play. We've not previously had a turnout that big, so it's likely everyone will play 4 games at minimum. Typical turnout has been 14-20 players per tournament.

> Adding a 5th place game this year. The 4 losing players from the quarterfinals will face off to determine 5th/6th place. Players that reach the quarterfinals are looking at playing 6-7 games total in tournament. Great value for most of the field in terms of playing a lot of Tecmo / R.B.I. Baseball the day of tournament.

> Tecmo Bowl is a single elimination tournament.
RBI becomes best of 3 when we reach the final 4. Both games will also feature 3rd place game.

> Team selection: Coin toss winner names teams to be used in match-up. Other person then has choice of either selecting team and using controller 2, or deferring team choice and taking controller 1.
