I guess alot of people "PC only nerds" Are pissed off that the new starcraft game isnt a top down strategy game and that its gonna be for console gamers.
I mean really pissed like signing petitions an sending death threats to Blizzard.
I really love pc games "DOD BABY" but all these people bitching that console games are for "10 year old fags" and shit is really pissing me off, these fucking dorks need to get a life and shut up in my opinion.
Anyone else got a take on this?

I agree with you on this, Sothy. Have you read Gabe's comments on the topic in the latest version of penny-arcade (www.penny-arcade.com)? He's so right.
I like Blizzard's games, but what's wrong with them making console games? That doesn't mean they're abandoning the Mac/PC market!!! Personally, as long as it's available for the Gamecube (Blizzard hasn't announced which platforms would get Ghost), I'll be a happy camper. Otherwise, well, I still haven't had the time to complete Diablo, or Starcraft, or even had a chance to try out Warcraft III, so I have plenty of their games to play and master before I run out.
Anyway, I think it's a whole snobism thing to say that consoles are for kiddies and that the "real" games are on PC. Besides, there's less and less of a divide between both worlds (witness Halo, a Mac game turned console game). Of course, there are still more controls to learn on the keyboard than the controller, but controllers now have plenty of buttons so that the controls don't have to be "dumbed down" too much.

Yep, I love my PC but Consoles are the best wayt o play games usually. No bullshit "OH this game is half finished and buggy and unstable. pay 50 buxks for it and maybe sometime next month wel release a patch you have to waste time downloading to fix what shouldnt have been fucked up in the first place. NAYBE IF WE GET AROUND O IT THAT IS."
Thats is why for the forseeable future console games will always be more widely used and the console dmographic will set the trends.
Console gaming i where the bucks are, if you dont like it then quit spitting out half complete piles of shit. Sure we have to deal with The Oleson twins Cart Racing Extreme Hooters Adventure... but at least the fucking game wont crash or wipe the harddrive.
