I just picked one of these up at gamestop brand new for $5. Does anyone know how well this works for playing imports and how much they go for on ebay?

I have it and I can tell you that it's worth every penny to pay. :D It even works with shenmue 2 which iss a multi-disc game. :D But anyway, it's a very good import converter.

Yup, it does just what it's supposed to at an inoffensive price. Mine works just fine.

Speaking of inoffensive prices, you may want to look into the Gameshark sampler disc that was released late in the DC's life. Tips and TRicks hawked that thing as a cheap import player and I bought one at my local GS for $2.

Heh. I got a GS sampler for PS1 for just $1, and that one's a great import player, too.
