Ok, ill lay it down for you.
I just recently bought quite a few KOEI games from a local pawn and they were all completely unused except for one...im guessing they all came from the same person.
I opened up all the games to look and make sure everything was there (the shrinkwrap is cut at the top anyways, so i didnt open a sealed game)..when i opened up Romance of the Three kingdoms...there was a reciept inside it...directly from KOEI.
Its a big invoice sheet with the person who ordered its name and phone # on it (its from 1990)..first of all, i like this kinda thing, its kind of an extra for the game imo:)
Anyways, im wondering if you think it would be at all appropriate for me to call this guy and see if he has anymore games in this manner..i mean the pawn's were selling this stuff for 5 bucks a pop, so he couldnt want much for them (if he indeed was the one who brought them into the pawn in the first place)
im wondering also if he even lives in the same place and has the same phone #:P (i think im gonna try looking up his name in the phone book here and see if hes still in there and if he is if hes at the same #)
anyways, you cant help me with that second question one, but you certainly can the first:P

1) koei (www.koeigames.com) no longer has an online shop. they're quite a small company (well, the u.s. branch is), but they will direct you to shops that sell their newer titles. you can write them directly, and they'll no doubt be pleased to hear from you: koei corporation,
1818 gilbreth road, suite 238, burlingame, ca 94010. expect a nice response, and maybe some free stuff, depending on who reads the letter...

2) if you decide to contact that person who sold the games, you may find that:
a: someone else sold those games, not the person whose name is on the receipt

b: it may be the right guy, but he'll think you some sort of oddball for asking if he was selling anymore koei games or he'll politely decline to talk to you (then change his phone number)

good luck either way!
