I bought a ddr max 2 set on ebay for 46.00 and the mat isn't an official konami mat, its a "dance performance II" mat.
I just wanted to know if it sucks like the mat made my naki or if its pretty good.

Not the same name, but I just bought one with the 8 buttons and lights for 19.00 at EB....looks exactly the same as in the picture. *shrug*
It's nicer than our old one, as the covering isn't slick shiny plastic, so less slipping with socks on...

I'd venture to guess that, by looking at the picture, the mat is of the same build and quality as the Naki mat you mentioned.
The game alone is like $40, so getting it and a knockoff mat for $46 isn't such a bad deal--although the bundle with the official Konami mat is $60.

Not the best mat out there, but you should definitely get your $6 worth.
Word of advice, don't dance on it with heels like the girl in the picture.
It also helps to dance facing the right way :)

yeah the box looks horrid, i keep searching for info on it on google, but all i I get is uk sites about ordering it, maybe its a mat from the uk or something. The retailer that was selling it, their main thing was selling imports. It was a company called Japan Video games. Its based out of california.

Japan Video Games is a pretty good site.
Think of it this way, the game sells for $40, so you really only paid $6 for the mat.
DDR costs $.50 at the arcade, so if it lasts 12 games, you're golden.
Don't expect it to last forever though.

yeah i got a pretty good deal, only 54.99 after shipping. Still cheaper than I would buy it for in stores. Cant wait to play it though!
