SMS snail maze question

You can do it in MEKA, and MEKA also supports all the BIOS variations, if you can find them.

My SMS had Hang On and the Snail Maze. It did not have Alex Kidd nor Safari Hunt.

There was a keypad combo to bring up the snail maze game.. I forget what it was but it was pretty simple.

I already posted the controller combo to do to bring it up, in this thread.

Anyway, it's: Hold Up on the D-Pad and both buttons, all at once, when the Sega Master System start-up screen is appearing.

As for the list, have you read my posting above? I wrote Sega about that issue. Maybe they won't give me any answer, or maybe they will. Just wait and see...

One of My SMS systems has Hang On programmed"in it"..but I never seen Safari Hunt come up..
Another one has 3D Missile Defense in it..
A third has just the insert game screen..

I can't get Snail Maze to come up on any of them...
I have a few other SMS systems I need to check out..

I must be doing something wrong with the buttons..I've never been able to get a Snail Maze come up on any of my SMS systems.

I didn't always know about the programmed in games,and I've been selling SMS systems for years and I wondered just what they might of had in them now.

Just how many different games were put in these..?

The standard 1.3 bios "insert game, turn back on, Enjoy" version, you just hold UP and press 1 + 2 at that screen. Other versions, you hold up + 1 + 2 while turning hte system on.

The "at the Sega Master System loading screen" descriptions are faulty, as somewhere during that screen, the game/system is booting. Holding everything before powering on is the correct way to do it.

Then I guess my SMS must not have the Snail Maze game, then, because when I hold up+1+2 when powering it on, Hang-on comes up.

I've never even heard of one having missile defense in it...wOW!

You know, the best way to find out the skinny onthis may be to go to smspower.org and ask intheir forum...

However folks, start listsing what models #s you have and what games are on them.
