I know its been dicussed before but no real answer was in any of those threads. Anybody find a good place to get them in bulk?
Do you mean the styrofoam spacers? Unless they have to be "official," you can make your own. An X-acto knife and styrofoam packing is all it takes. PC boxes often have blocks of styrofoam that can be used.

There was someone on the board that took orders for them a while ago. I don't know who it was, or if everyone got the styrofoam inserts... I wish I had a source for them though... I need a couple of them... a couple HUNDRED!!

Luckily one the games I bought near-complete at a thrift store a fe wmonths back HAD the styro, which surprised me. Surpried me more when I recieved the 25 NES boxes I won on ebay they all had them too!

I find that most of the games I get complete have the styrofoam inserts in them still... but I still find my fair share of ones that do not have them...

I still have some left, but am not sure how many. Portnoyd bought about 750 off of me. The stupid things cost 6 times more to ship than the material did. I know I have plenty of the half widths (for long book games, rpgs, etc) if anyone needs those right away. I will put aside what I need to finish my collection, and let you guys know. There will probably be only a few hundred of the regular size left.

Do you have any examples of the games that use the smaller kind of styros. I have only noticed one size in all of my games, maybe I overlooked them.

All unliscensed Tengen games, most RPG's like Dragon Warrior I, III, IV, FInal Fantasy, Might And Magic, Some Tecmo Games (Super Bowl), NES Open, Magician, Faria, and many others. I don't have an exact count, but would imagine the total to be between 20 to 50 titles.
