Hey guys!

I have a question about an Intellivision game that was in a big lot of stuff I bought at a thrift store.

The box is black with red lettering and says: "Super Series Big League Baseball" In the upper right corner it says, "Use with any Intellivision master component, computer adaptor & computer keyboard" I don't have the computer stuff for the INTV, though. But my question is about what's inside the box. The cartridge says simply, "World Series Baseball" and there is one overlay for the American League and one for the National League. The instruction book does say Super Series . . .

What is this? I get the feeling that the cartridge and the games inside don't match. I would appreciate any input/answers/advice.

Thanks!!!

You've got yourself an awesome game there. If you ever get the ECS (computer adaptor) and the Intellivoice going, you're in luck.

In fact, you do have the World Series Baseball. The package is just one of the many wacky Intellivision label variations. Check out the INTV Funhouse for more details: http://www.intvfunhouse.com/games/wsbb.phtml

You should see your Super Series Box in the top left of the page, and your cart (with just the World Series Baseball title) at the bottom. Your game is just the re-release by Intellivision Inc. later, not the original one by Mattel. Your manual should be that white one, compared to the full-color Mattel one. While your version isn't as nice, it seems to be much more rare than the original.

Great find, and I hope this answers your question.
