I don't have my pal snes here to confirm this, but I heard that a US snes AC adapter will work with a Pal snes. I just want to know if this is true, because if it is it will save me $60 to buy a power converter.

Nope, the US SNES is DC 10V 850mA, while a PAL SNES is AC 9V 1.3A. It's a different connector aswell.
(I *think* that the PAL SNES is the same as a Super Famicom, though)
What power adaptor does a US NES use? - if it's not the same as a US SNES then it might be the right one (PAL NES and SNES both use the same power adaptor)
