I've been waiting for this moment for quite some time, and it is confirmed (I just tried it) and it indeed works! Here is the link:

If Joe gives the ok I can supply the needed boot.rom and perhaps a rom or two.

Whenever you have some free time I'll send the files over to you. Now I wish my complete Jag romset didn't get deleted a year ago! :(

BTW: To further expand on the emulation aspect of the system:

For a first release it is a milestone. No sound and it's running at about 22fps on my P3-1gz. Playable, but slow. Still, even just to SEE the Jaguar games emulated on my PC is incredible enough. And now that it is emulated, it's only going to get better and better. Remember the beginning of the Neo-Geo emulation? Ahh...those were the days...

If you hit the newsgroups you will find a complete set of Jaguar roms for your enjoyment. I would download these right away, because I have a feeling Jag emulation will be the thing in the coming weeks/months!

Still not available on the Mac side. Oh well, eventually...

If any of you are having problems with Direct Draw (incompatibility with Project Tempest and DirectX 8+), this update *should* fix things for you:

I still can't help but wonder how the carts were copied. What type of homemade device did the work and how it was accomplished. Who did it, and who knows it's specs?

I'm still getting a direct draw error. Curses!

What's the min requirements for the Jaguar emulator anyhow?

BTW, ver .20 is out now.
