What about 32x darxide?

Rare, certainly, but it wouldn't make it into this list - the highest price I've heard of for it was £750 (~$1400) via a private deal at neogeo.com

Tetris md should be in there for sure. The last one sold for about four grand (£), and the people I know who want a copy, myself included, would get the price to $5000 at least I reckon. Hell a Nagoya sold the other day for about $1000 and that's piss easy to find compared to tetris.

Well if we are going to do Japanese games I need some help. Tetris and Pachinko for sure. Any others?

Now, about the Blockbuster World Video Game Championships II Genesis Cart, so far, only two people have come forward and confirmed ownership of this cartridge; portnoyd and myself.

It's true that portnoyd did snag it on ebay a couple of years back for the price of about $100+ (Is that right portnoyd? If not, please correct me) and that's why the DP rarity guide value for it is $100 loose.

Assuming that we wanted to sell our copies to other private collectors, I figure we can pretty much name our price as we see fit, considering that portnoyd and I are the only ones who have it.

I'm really considering putting this cartridge in a safe deposit box somewhere. LOL For now though, it can stay safe in it's 4-stage protective case. :D

I presume you are talking about Delisoba Deluxe. Pretty rare, yes. Pretty pricey too. Probably less than $1000 in Japan though - and also not a cartridge based game, hence why it is not even in the running for this list

Well it sounds like it would be the most expensive genesis cart... I'm not sure if means it would go for crazy money though. Genesis stuff seems real slow above certain price levels, no matter what the item is, at least in my experience. Great to have though, but I suspect it wouldn't crack the list by any stretch... my .02.

4th Survivor, I think this topic should be for "released games" not contest carts and such.

At that point, I would list 30 or so unreleased games that only 1 exists of in the world. Would that make the value go up more than Blockbuster? It's just what someone is willing to spend. NWC out of control prime example.

DL was a big time NES collector that decided to cash out, to pay for a college education. Pretty noble reason. They had everything complete and minty too.

Didn't a Mr. Boston Clean Sweep for the Vectrex sell for around $2500 on Ebay 8 years ago? I wonder what one would fetch today.....

Edit to Add: I guess I should have read pages 2 and 3 before posting :embarrassed:
