I either feel good about having as many as I do and in the company that I have and keep here, or I feel like I should be checking myself in to a clinic for mentally deranged folks.

Is this a clinic then, and have then the patients taken over the ward?

Are we then all MAD here, or are we sane?

My poor wife, and her friends/family think the latter, my daughters and their friends, the initial....

Hmmm...

Atari 2600
Intellivision (I can't get it to work, unfortunately)
NES
SNES
Sega Genesis
N64
GameCube (w/Game Boy Player)
Playstation 2 (it's actually my husband's)
Wii
Hyperscan (that counts, right?)

Game Boy (original, somewhere in the attic?)
Game Boy Color
Game Gear

Amiga 500

Off the top of my head...I think that's it! I might be picking up a 5200 soon, but it depends on what the guy selling it wants for it.

Oh yeah, and an FC Twin, if Famiclones count.

Borrowing your image, Adrienne :)

No, it's NOT a console. And it's my poll, so I say it doesn't count.

Your poll doesn't count LOL

I used to have more consoles that hooked up to the tv, but right now I have 15. But you're going to have to guess which ones they are. LOL

I used to have over 15 but i cut back into just one type of system now, and with that I just on the collection within that area.

1.) Atari XEGS
2.) Atari 400
3.) Atari 800
4.) Atari 800XL
5.) Atari 1200XL
and i think theres a random system I have too.

I would do another system like NES or SNES but after the massive quality collection I had I dont think it could ever rival it. Maybe down the road Ill try a SNES again.

SNES
SNES mini
SFC
Sat model 2
PS1
N64
DC
PS2 slim
GCN black
Xbox
Wii
Ouya (pre-ordered/kickstarted)

16 not including the Ouya

Too many, haha.

Colecovision
NES toaster
NES toploader x2
SNES model 1 x2
SNES model 2
N64 x2
GameCube x2
Wii
Master System
Genesis model 1
Genesis model 2
Genesis model 3
Sega CD model 2 x2
32X
CDX
Saturn
Dreamcast
TurboGrafx-16
PC Engine Duo-RX x2 (although one can't play discs)
PC-FX
PlayStation x3
Japanese PS2
US slim PS2
3DO
MVS
Japanese 360 (needs repair, though)
US 360

Portables:

Game Boy
Game Boy Pocket x2
Game Boy Color x3
Game Boy Advance
Game Boy Advance SP (backlit model)
DS Lite
DSi XL
3DS
Virtual Boy
Game Gear
Neo Geo Pocket Color x3
Wonderswan
GP32
PSP

I think that's everything, but I could very well be forgetting about a variant here or there. Especially with the handhelds. If I get a color I don't have, I usually hang on to it, but they just get put away immediately, rarely to be seen again.

Calculators are sort of a stretch me thinks.

Can I add my Garmin and 1st gen iPhone that sits in my junk drawer? :P

I thought handhelds were not allowed in the OP too, but many seem intent on listing them anyway.

Never a big fan of handhelds, I do have GB, GBC, and GBA if I were allowed to count those.

Garmins can't play games.

Anyways, I remember in high school, graphing calculators were the best portable "game" systems to have because Gameboys and the such were not allowed, but they couldn't ban you from having a calculator. Friends of mine would load Tetris and various other games on there. Yes, its primary function was to perform mathematical equations, but it was also a decent gaming platform. Should we not count the C64 either because it's primarly a computer? I think not.
