Then some Stretch Panic. What the heel is going on I'm in this sketchy room with a bellin the middle and theres this hand thing growing out from the charictor. Then when I ring the bell, I get this woman figureen with HUGE BOOBS and I gess I have to do something with em. It just cunfused the hell out of me so I turned it off.

That game confused the hell out of me 'cause when I bought it it had no instructions...I think you're supposed to pull yourself into the paintings in the sketchy room or something. Been ages since I played that one, the "huge boobs" are kinda hard to forget, though. ;)

Men Of Valor:

I like the game, but I think I should of played the game on easy the first time around.
I'm having a hard time with it..Having fun then getting aggravated..As I read it can be aggravating game.

I had to pass a major part of mission with only 2 bullets left..Don't ask me how I did that..It took many tries and a very thought out attack..

The mission I left off on I was killed way to many times before I just had to take it out.

I put Mercenaries back in just so I can have some explosive fun..

I'll finish Men of Valor..But I may start a whole new game on easy.

I should just start playing:
Ace Combat 5
Mechassault 2 Lone Wolf
Or even Resident Evil 4

I've been waiting to start Resident Evil 4 until I get some time off from my busy schedule to really get into it..

I think tonight I shall finally get back into Metroid Prime 2, then if there's time, play around with my latest Megadrive acquisition (Dyna Brothers 2).

I've never been good at strategy games but this one looks very cool and has AWESOME music...hopefully I'll be able to break through the language barrier here. Wish me luck. 8-)

I've also been playing Cardfighters clash...man this game is tough! I don't think I really understand it much, either. Still a hella fun game anyways.

Played
Ms Pac Man & Strikers 1945 Arcade machines at the Bowling Alley tonight

These were just brought in..The machines are brand spanking new "conversions"..(identical cabs)
I've never seen a Strikers 1945 Arcade machine other then in a conversion cab..This one looked great.
Everything is new in these machines with super clear 25" Vertical Monitors...super clean..

The Ms Pac Man just has an original Ms Pac Man marquee and a Ms Pac Man control overlay..(mint)
I'm not to fond of the large in your face monitor for Ms Pac Man..the ghosts are huge..

They had both machines on super hard..I didn't last long on either machine..

Both machines looked to be in the design below..I'm pretty sure they were Dynamo cabs.

The first thing I did today was turn on my Arcade machines and play each one a bit

I got my STRIKERS 1945 PLUS MVS cart in the Mail today...
Cleaned the contacts and popped it in..

I usually let a cart run through several demos before I start playing (as it's doing now)
With demo sound on..(usually off)

As far as it looks this game looks to be pretty damn sweet!!!

Tonight I left my Arcade machines running in the hope that when my wife came in she would want to play them.. She instantly was attracted to play..Sweet!!

My Son was giving Strikers 1945 Plus a Good Romp on the Big Red when she joined him..
Then they played League Bowling,Metal Slug and Puzzle Bobble 2..(that makes me happy)

I'm playing ESPN International Winter Sports 2002(Xbox)..
This is not a usual type game I play besides SEGA STV Winter Heat ..not that I don't like them but I'm usually caught up on some other game.

This game has a lot to it and not bad..
My Son just totally stopped playing GTA-SA to watch me play this..then my wife..

My Son got a desire to play Xbox Pulse Racer last night after I was checking the game out..

I don't really understand the game but he just took it over and was blaring down the tracks.

I want him to play the Racing Games..He drives the vehicles in Halo,Halo 2 and GTA SA with precision at his age /amazingly to the point of bringing tears to my eyes.
I told him last night"go look at the shelf, pick a racing game" pointing them out to him..He really doesn't know what they are yet..I have to play them and show him.

I want to make up some sort of seating set-up with one of the steering wheel/pedal gas setups I have..(prefetably logitech)
Somethng for a kid that he sits in and has the wheel attached..
I have some ideas and maybe what I need to it up..
The way he masters vehicles in games makes me think he's going to give me a good run for the money someday...I hope so..
None of my friends do..they suck at racing besides cheating like crazy to win in Super Mario Kart.. x_x

Surprisingly to me I'm playing RE4 again instead of something new ;D. The handcannon and chicago typewriter rule. Word of advice: make SURE you buy the broomhandle mauser red9. That thing with the stock is the most accurate and powerful handgun in the game. Can't believe I stuck with the punisher my first time through...shooting through people is cool but not as nice as the red9.

I started playing Strikers 1945 Plus on the Big Red,just getting into the game and as always something comes up causing me to have to stop(save game) x_x

Tonight I'm playing Mercenaries.
Finally I've found the 8 of Diamonds card member.

I was just riding around blowing stuff up,thinking what to do next and drove down this train track road that ends.
I've traveled down this road many times and always stopped and turned around,.. after seeing the barrier and the red non entry area,
So that I would not get shot by entering the red area I stay away..This time I went a bit further and did a U turn at the train tracks end barrier..Whoa!..I started getting shot at,where the heck is it coming from..Behind the barrier there was an enemy fortification with the 8 of Diamonds.

I'm playing several SNES carts that have been put on my shelf through all my last flea market trips.
Games I may have played or own otherwise but these carts I've never tested..

I only took about half of them tonight to play..I'll try the rest tomorrow or during the week..
I need to get into the Genesis stacks of the same thing...and they have really piled up..
So much to catch up on with so little time to do so..

For some reason if I have a game boxed I forgot that I own it/have played it and then remember this when I pop in a loose same game and play it..

This pile of SNES games being played tonight consists of:

Super Punch Out!!......... (having lots of fun with this)
Cool Spot
Battletoads/Double Dragon
Spiderman Venom Maximum Carnage
Skuljagger
Speedy Gonzales Los Gatos Banditos(reminds me of Sonic)
Pac-Attack
Pac Man 2 The New Adventures
Nickelodeon Aaahh!!! Real Monsters.......(hilarity)
Gradius III.....(My Sons having a go at this)
Paperboy 2.............(I suck/I keep crashing the bike)
Pitfall-The Mayan Adventure.....(I've played this a dozen times)
Indiana Jones Greatest Adventures ....(I've played this a dozen times)
Super R-Type
Super Soccer (I must of played this the longest so far trying to beat the computer)

If you have any comments etc on the listed games I'd love to hear them..

From what I've played:

Cool Spot - I own it on the Genesis - I liked the first few levels, but it got too repetitive later on.
Pac Man 2: The New Adventures - It's an interesting concept, to say the least. It kept me entertained for a few hours, but now, the only reason I still own it is because Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man can be played via password.
Gradius III - One of the best SHMUPS on the SNES, despite the slowdown.
Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure - I used to have this on the SNES but traded it off. Never got past the first level, nor did I really care to. I did play the original Pitfall! several times, though. If I didn't have access to Pitfall! on Activision Anthology (PS2), I might have kept this.
Super R-Type - Second-best SHMUP on the SNES, imo (my top favorite is R-Type III). I read in that finds thread that you got it for a buck, that's an awesome score. I think I paid five bucks for my copy.

Beat Max Payne on Xbox tonight...great ending and great game :D

Congrats! I still have yet to start playing my PS2 copy, but I want to get around to it one of these days.

Yesterday, I went to a friend's house and we did nothing but play games for a few hours. Good times. We played the following:

Gamecube:

-Wario Ware
When I first read about this, I thought it sounded like an incredibly stupid concept. Played it for the first time today and I had a lot of fun. I might get a copy of this someday.
-Pac-Man Vs.
We played two rounds - I won the first round, she won the other.
-Mario Kart Double Dash!!

PS2:

-Grand Theft Auto San Andreas
This was my first time trying out the multiplayer. We went to a few different places that had multiplayer icons (Denise's house, Dillimore, the rampage at Pershing Square in Los Santos). There's not really a point to the one with Denise or the one in Dillimore - the second player plays Denise (or a hick or a cop in Dillimore) and you two just go around causing havoc. You can also get into a vehicle and do drive-bys. The rampage was just that - a two player rampage.

At home, I played:

PS2:

Need For Speed Underground 2
Currently in stage 3. I'll be hooked to this for a while.

I made a really nice Strikers 1945 Plus Mini Marquee on good Photo paper and I wanted to see just how it looks with light through it in the cab..
So today I hooked the marquee lights back up in my Big Red..
I've had them unplugged long enough...what the heck,if they blow I'll buy the replacements..
The Mini marquee looks great and the light comes through the same as it does the originals. :)

I decided to pull up my stool and play Strikers 1945 Plus as far as I could get..My Son joined me for a two player game.
We blasted through this game in I'd say no less then 20 minutes. X_x .(Freeplay)..

I like it..It's short but sweet.....I find Ghost Pilots to be a long game, but I like Strikers 1945 Plus more then Ghost Pilots.
Strikers 1945 Plus just seems more refined and detailed compared to Ghost Pilots..IMO
I like the amount of planes available with different weapons and bombs.(Replay Value).I also like the fact that in the soft dips you can set the C button to Rapid fire (incase you fingers get tired I guess from pressing the A.

What I want to do is play this against friends with freeplay off..I'll set the cab to coins and we'll see who can get the highest score per quarter..
I have to do it this way..my buddies will cheat.. :P

No problem, here you go:

From what I've heard, the only way you can play the original Pac-Man on the SNES and Genesis is through through this game, since it was never released by itself on either system (or on any other 16-bit Pac-Man game) for some odd reason or another.

I just got my ass kicked in Baseball Stars Professional..6 nothing..
I can never beat the computer the first time around, but I just keep trying..They hit everything super hard..(The computer is cheap)
The second time around it's normal, the opposing team will hit regular hits..no matter what team I chose or play against.
By the time I've beat the piss out of in the first game I'm to worn out or aggravated to play the second game.

After that ass kicking game I continued my Championship game in Super Baseball 2020
My feel was totally off but I started off with some great hits because of that..(just swinging)..I was pitching the ball all over the place though.
I had a lead at my last save of 9 to 0..I got it up to 12- 0 in the 5th inning, then the computer turned it up and started using it's cash to strengthen the hitters.
They went on fire stealing bases, leading and hitting everything I threw at them. I could not hit anything they threw at me.
They made 7 quick runs playing real hard now....I used every bit of cash I had to strengthen my last pitchers arm and held them off..Whew!!

I won 12-7........

Thanks! I just reached Stage 4. Here's something odd: I selected Sparco as my new sponsor. I went to put a decal on my car (it's a Honda Civic coupe), and there weren't any Sparco decals.

Notably, I beat one of the toughest Outrun races so far by luck. I was on the freeway and went into an exit. I didn't mean to take the exit. Fortunately, I didn't realize the other car had went the same way. I finally got the lead, and went through the downtown area and back onto the freeway. I went a full lap around the freeway and couldn't lose the other car. Usually I lose them around the airport exit. I lost my lead again and accidentally went down an exit lane. Fortunately, I had somehow managed to get ahead of the other car, which was still on the freeway. I go down the street while the other car is struggling to get off the freeway and finally win the race.

I could of swore I posted this already..could I of made the mistake and clicked on the wrong thread.. x_x :embarrassed:

Today I moved stuff around my living room to put my Neo Gold next to the Tekken 3 and Big Red,then took a ton of picks because I've never done this.
It's temporary until Monday or Tuesday..My place is just not situated to leave it this way,..I'd have to chuck my couches..

I have some minor work I need to do the Neo Gold so having it this way it's easier to work on/close up etc..(safety/kid)

I just ran the cabs like this today playing them..pretty cool..

Otherwise I went up to Fuddruckers and played many games in it's Arcade(took picks)
Beforehand I hit Kohl's and made some scores..IMO..

for the FIRST TIME I beat Mike Tyson/Mr. Dream today in Punch-Out. Not only that, but I did it going straight through with zero losses.

Dramatic fashion too... the time read 2:52 in the third round when the final punch was scored. Good god damn, I'm going to be smiling all day today!

:rocker: X 10!!!

Just Beat Suikoden IV. Overall I liked it. It's not as good overall as the first two PSOne games, maybe because the story wasn't as big, and there was a bunch of times I did side quest stuff and wasn't quite sure what to do next. In terms of the side things like the mini games and the cat and mouse game and the treasure maps that stuff was awesome. And what story was there was awesome. The sailing bits took too long and needed more variety, i.e. more monsters, more islands etc... Or just more weather patterns, I mean look and Windwaker in comparision... 3.5 out of 5

Still playing Castlevania: CotM, I can either beat the second form of Drac, or try to conquer the Battle Arena first...

Tried out Gradius III+IV on PS2. Man Gradius is mad hard, but some how compelling...

Played a little Dragons Lair 3D on the cube, very pleasantly suprised. Seems fun if you have fond memories for the LaserDisc original...

Also played a little Metroid Prime, very pretty, didn't get the ship in time to escape the first self destruct sequence. Still getting used to the controls...

Cheers,
Ben

Playing the 5200 games and system I picked up today at the Flea market..(only playing the games that came with it)

Amazingly the 5200 works without cleaning the carts and both sticks work..It even still has the stick paper covered on the back of the RF.
It's running a demo of Defender now..

I figure this system was taken care of...It fired right up and the sticks aren't trashed.

PS2:

Need For Speed Underground 2

I'm about halfway through stage 4 at the moment. My main cars are the Honda Civic coupe and Mitsubishi Eclipse. I also found the Sparco decal... it turns out I hadn't unlocked it yet. I thought all the sponsor decals were available at the beginning of the game - guess not! LOL

I just beat Beyond Good and Evil a few weeks ago, great game, though I was sorry it was over... since then I have been playing:

Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
King of Fighters 1998
King of Fighters 2003

While playing BG+E I got to thinking that the game play really is alot like Zelda and I would actually put it above Wind Waker in all respects other than playing time. BG+E was a little bit too short of a game, but what isn't when you are enjoying a game like that one! :D
