I bought a Kolibri cart for the 32X some time ago but I don't even own a Genesis. How many of you do this?

I've got a few INTV, Atari Lynx, Astrocade, Colecovision, VB and Famicom/Super Famicom carts from a few random buys and prizes from DP.

I've got 4 or 5 Master System games I don't have a system for. I sold mine a while ago but kept the games.

Not anymore. Picked up one of the promotional Zelda Collector's Edition discs for free, then decided to pick up a gamecube primarily for playing that game.

I have a couple VB and SFC games but I don't have either system. I'm still waiting for a good deal to come along. :o

I have yet to own a virtualBoy but it doesn't stop you from picking up those games when you see a good lot of them really cheap. :-P

I Havnt done it recently, but i had 3 XBox games before i had an XBox... Also when i got a 3DO i had a system, but no games or controller... Im still waiting on a controller :o

I had 6 PS2 games before I got the system... but I knew I had the system coming. Currently I have a Mario Bros. Atari 5200 cart but no system. I don't know what to do with it.

I have Lunar II for the SegaCD, got a MegaCD but that sucker doesn't play SegaCD games (and i don't have the converter yet).

For that i had a Saturn and a Dreamcast game and no system, but i've got those systems in my collection now :D

I don't have any games for any systems that I don't have, but I do have manuals for games I don't have yet.

I have Pokemon Snap for the N64, and Mario's Picross & Nekketsu Dodgeball for the Game Boy. I'm gonna buy those systems again pretty soon, I'm sure.

I have Mario's Tennis for the Virtual Boy, Batman & Robin for Game.com, a handful of Famicom carts, and a couple Odyssey2 games.

I have 2 7800 carts but no system, a C64 cart but my C64 only plays tapes, 4 32X games but no (working) 32X and 1 Xbox game without a (working) Xbox. Hurrah!

I have about a dozen PS2 games but no PS2 console yet (in my case, almost all of these games, save for FF X, Activision Anthology and Tony Hawk 3, come from the days of my column). Also left over from that column is one Xbox game (Jet Set Radio Future) but I don't have an Xbox and I also have a few Windows games (but no PC as I'm on a Mac with NO version of Virtual PC running).

Yep! Most of the time it's much easier to find games than the systems themselves. And being that I plan on getting the systems when I find them at a decent price might as well pick up the games when I see them cheap!

Actually, I owned over 50 Atari 2600 games before I even picked up a system! Then currently I have some Atari 7800, Atari 5200, Arcadia and tons of others that I cant think of at the moment that I have games I've found cheap and still haven't found the system. It's the true calling of a collector, one who buys games he can't play, just to have them. :)

I did this for PS1 with the Mega Man titles, fearing they would go out of print and be hard to find. I think this was before I even thought of them being reissued...

Got Halo...got the 3 Blockbuster Outlaw exclusives...even picked up the big ol' Steel Battalion package...still no X-box though. I think it's all of the rumored price drops that keep me from taking the plunge.

I bought Virtua On for saturn long before i actually had a saturn. My reason: Saturn emu's need the actual game, and i saw VO cheap on ebay.....

Turns out saturn emulation still has a long way to go LOL

Back in 1997 I got an N64 game before got I my N64 console.

For about a year I had PSX games, but no PSX - of course I just played them on my PS2.

Then last year I had Master System cart for about a month before I got my SMS II.

But at the moment, I've got the corresponding consoles to games. Hence I voted no.

I have Mario Kart 64 and Diddy Kong Racing for the N64, and the only N64 in my house belongs to my brother.

I even have a peripheral for a system I don't have... I still have the Zapper that came with my old Nintendo!

Edit: I've since acquired an N64, so now the closest thing would be that Zapper.

Nope! I used to have lots, but I've since acquired all the systems I need to play every game I own (or else the necessary adapters for other systems). I'm not counting the one PS2 game I have because it doesn't work.

I'm sort of in the same position, though I only have 2 PS2 games :P

I have a good number of Super Famicom games but no SFC, PC-Engine games but no PCE, no Japanese Saturn (for Cyberbots LE) and no playable Master System. I don't really consider myself to have a Famicom Disk System/Famicom because many of my games are sealed/the Sharp Twin Famicom is a NIB unit.

I finally have an NES and (sort of) a Mega Drive, though, and a x68K system is on the way :D

I also don't have a usable MSX 2; I think the unit should work but the power plug has bent prongs, and they're really hard to straighten out. I just offered to buy Zach's PSX, so it looks like it'll be a while before I can pick up my dream MSX 2 :/

I've got a few - one Intellivision game (Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back), one GameBoy Advance game (Gradius Galaxies) and 10-12 PS2 games, because I had to sell my system last month. I'll be fixing that soon though, hopefully.
