Ive just been thinking of some great games that have faded away and would be awesome to make sequals.....heres a couple of my thoughts -just a few thoughts, i wont go on all day-

Saturn-

NiGHTS

Clockwork knight (i heard they are releasing this for ps2 accually)

Astal (kept in its original 2D form...i think 3D will ruin it)

Shinning Force ( even if its a remake of 3 and they release ALL 3 parts here :P)

3 Dirty Dwarves

Gaurdian Heroes

DC-

Skies of Arcadia

Power stone

Outtrigger

Genesis-

Vectorman (WHY THE HELL DID THEY CANCEL THE PS2 VERSION)

Streets of Rage

Altered Beast ( as far as i know this is still coming out)

Kid Chameleon

Arcus Oddyssey

Sega sequels already? It seems like only yesterday that they released Zaxxon and Congo Bongo.

A REZ sequel, although I'm pretty sure it'll never happen. IIRC the creative team is no longer around.

I'd still like a "Streets of Rage" sequal, but that DC homebrew game "Beats of Rage" does the "sequal" job well.

Guardian Heroes also deserves a sequal (in the same 2D style of course)

Im not sure i want to see sequels to great sega classics like streets of rage, zombies ate my neighbors, wonder boy III, nights, guardien heroes, gain ground, and kid chameleon on anything but another sega system. And seeing as i dont see that happening(anytime soon *crosses fingers*) I think they should let thoes games stay vintage, and make some classics for the next genoration of gamers.

KIDD. Alex Kidd. Kidd, Alex. We haven't seen this monkey boy's greatness since the Enchanted Castle... the Hedgehog rules and all, but I sure hope Sega hasn't completely abolished their roots... a new AK game would be great. Hell, I'd just be happy if he were in a Smash Bros/Sega crossover.

Golden Axe. Don't tell me that I'm the only person here that wants to see another Golden Axe game.

Actually the first Golden Axe game i really enjoyed, a little to short but good none the less. Havn't played the 2nd one tho. I wouldn't mind seeing a World of Illusion game appear on the GBA.

You do know that VF4: Final Tuned is coming out this Summer, right? I'l always play Virtua Fighter, mainly b/c of the soft spot I've got for it. That's where my handle was generated. I had to think of something quick for the VF.net system, but also something that would make me stick out. The result was Gaijin Punch.

Other sequels I want to see:

Panzer Dragoon RPG
Space Harrier (Planets Harrier doesn't count - it was in the arcade for like 2 weeks)
Phantasy Star IV (a real sequel)

BTW... I think Virtua Cop for Xbox was cancelled.

TJ & 3 was pretty good, I thought. I wish it didn't have that 3rd alien shit, but it was a good game.

I jsut want to point out that games like powerstone, zombies ate my neighbors, Boogerman, Awesome Possum, these aren't sega games. They were on sega systems, but they are no more sega games then Mega Man is nintendo.
