Hi
I am new to the forum but have been gaming for many years. I have a sega mega drive, N64, Dreamcast, Playstation and now an X-box as well as various hand helds etc. I am not a serious collector but I enjoy playing.

My problem relates to some new games I bought for the Sega Pico. The connectors are corroded/tarnished (coated in a green deposit) and the games either don't play or are erratic. Does anyone know if there is a way to remove the deposit and restore the games without causing damage? Any tips gratefully recieved.

Try a Q-tip (cotton swab) and 50/50 isopropanol and water. Wipe until the swab(s) come away clean. You can dry it with a swab too, but be careful not to leave any bits of swab behind.

Good Luck and Welcome!
