Lots of funky Konami stuff on the Nintendo list...makes me glad I'm an imports guy too ;)

Anyhow, what's with the crazy rarity scores? Contra's an 8? I guess since I've got a sealed Super C PC on my shelf that must be like a 35 then. Legend of Zelda is a 6 but SMB is a 2?

Anyhow, lots of way-hyped games on that list...I think for the Super NES list they picked first-party games (especially those with a "Super" in them) and then forgot about all the really amazing games like Cybernator and Super Mario RPG - amazed they put Yoshi's Island in there, that's a good choice. What about DKC though?

N64 list looks good, though I'm wondering if "Papaer Mario" wants to be a Rapper. I actually used to have Blast Corps...

omg the rarities are totally wrong, well, prices will be normal again in half a year ;)

Note of course these are supposed to be PAL rarity values. There was a separate section not listed in the post above giving top imports for each machine... but as stated, I've already torn the author of the piece a new one on Retrogamer's own forum for just being completely up in the sky about the rarity values. Hopefully people there will listen. Sadly we'll just have to see how much of a knock-on effect it has. Rest of that issue though was good :)

We can only pray they make sure extremely scarce means not rare. Somehow, I doubt this.
