Also of note: The SP and all of the Classic NES games come with the serial number cards like Mario Kart and Mario Party did. My friend bought the entire line up plus system, and registered them from work by calling his brother at home and reading the numbers off. LOL
His theory is that Nintendo *may* provide some sort of unique gift to the early adopters (what we have no clue) but if you were able to get 4 free Zelda games by buying two GC games, they gotta give ya something for buying $250+ worth of GBA stuff.
Oh man, I hope they do this. I was only planning on getting 2 or 3 of the re-release games, but if Nintendo is going to give some kind of crazy freebie away (like that storage case) to US gamers that buy all 8, I'll definitely pick them all up.

Just got mine and all I can say is WOW. I really like it. Yes that is my opinion.
nice feel to the control area. the painted vents on top are a nice touch. The color matching the toaster style NES was a seller for me.
This is my first handheld since the original gameboy. The screen looks beautiful X_x I have 4 games on pre order ..... Zelda,SMB,Excitebike and Ice climber. Maybe more , I cant remember :eek 2:
Anybody else rush to get thiers today ? I pre paid for my unit as soon as you could pre order it a while back. Same with the games. I cant wait to get the classic games. ( not that I dont own every one )

I saw the kit that gamestop near me got with the 2 shirts , lanyards and other stuff like scratch and sniff stickers aof all the games coming out for "classic". The box it came in was just like a "toaster" style NES and I want it so badly :(
They did give me 2 of the lanyards and 2 full sets of stickers :D I am also first in line for all of it if my friend gives it to me. (If he doesnt want it)
He said I can probably have at least the box and one shirt :D :D :D

a lanyard is one of those strap things that people use as a key chain

Don't know how many of you are big on trade ins, but EB does have the special where if you trade in you rSP towards the NES SP, you get the NES one for $40+ tax. (ie you get $60 for your old SP)
Just figured I'd give a shout out after seeing the cobalt sale commnt ^_^

Of course I hope he will give me the box it all came in. "must have the precious" :P
The scratch and sniff stickers have the following games on them :
Excitebike = smells like burnt rubber when scratched
Donkey Kong = smells like jungle fruit
Ice Climber = smells like cool winter mint
Mario bros = pasta ( I thought it would be funny if it smelled like a backed up toilet) LOL
And for some reason I cant remember the other 2 ( I will have to check it when I get home.
