They'll be releasing the updated rosters soon. The patch will be called NCAA Basketball 2005 and should only cost around $40

Heh, that's why I always buy the PC version of Madden. :D

Except for last year. I finally decided the ability to import rookies from NCAA into Madden was too much to pass up and bought them both for the GC. Now that I have a XBox, I'll get both this year for them.

You can go to ps2rosters.com for both Ps2 and Xbox.

If you have a way to get game saves from your PC to your Xbox, you can probably find some at www.codejunkies.com, which is the site for the saves intended for use with an Action Replay that have been contributed. These aren't official from EA or anything, but they have a lot of saves for different games.

To get them on your Xbox, you can either mod it and FTP them over, or get an Action Replay. If you have a regular memory card and an adapter for your controller to connect it to your PC, you can just get the Action Replay drivers and install them in your PC while the memory card is in the controller to make your memory card an Action Replay.

Now that EA is on Live, I'd imagine that they will have official new rosters, but they will only be for the new games supported by Live of course.

The NCAA does not allow player names to be used in the game. However, you can add your ownnames( very time consuming) or use the download methods in the previous post.

If you notice, the player thay put on the cover of each NCAA 200? has been drafted by the NFL.

That would be Larry Fitgerald, one of the top drafts for the NFL this year. He got picked by the Cardinals, and he joins another good WR (in the form of Boudin) that can make any QB salviate with excitement at two dangerous young men to throw deep with. Put the ball anywhere NEAR them and they will come down with it. :D

I also bought NCAA Football 2005 for the XBox and am really enjoying it, despite a couple of minor techincal issues.

I plan to import my rookies into Madden 2005 when it comes out Aug 10th, and I'll just name players who are drafted and actually play in Madden.
