It's pointless and you guys know it. ;) Everyone's tastes are completely subjective, so even if I was Helen of Troy, there would STILL be at least one person who'd say "Eh, I don't think you're very attractive". It makes matters even worse when a person acts confident about their appearance and gets "challenged" to post a photo. I'm not an idiot, OF COURSE I'd get a million replies like "Playboy girls >>>>>>> you", regardless of what I look like. I'd like to get a photo added to the photo album sooner or later, but this is not the setting to "reveal" myself. Well, Ed probably knows what I look like, and others could easily find a fuzzy photo if they wanted... but that's besides the point. :P

When I was like...well I wanna say 10ish, my uncle used to keep Playboy magazines in the bathroom at his apartment. So whenever I would visit him and have to take a shit, I'd flip through the pages. I remember their being a lot of "typing" and not many pictures to look at.

I dunno how this is relevant, but hell if they showed a center fold of Rock Howard in some "trashy woman's" magazine, I'd be the first one to pick it up.

I don't think ugly women hate attractive women either, but I've had several girlfriends, and my fiancee, admit to me that there is an understood competition between girls in a room. It's not always over looks, either; it could be over anything. I'm sure this situation doesn't extend to everybody, but let's face it: society exploits women by telling them they need to buy all this crap and look a certain way, and it probably does evoke competition among them.

I just recently heard about this particular feature (in the recent Xbox Nation I just got). My thoughts: why not? If it turns a person on: good for them. People have gotten turned on by painted (and probably fake) beauties for centuries so why is it all of a sudden bad for a person to think "she's hawt" when it's a realistic human model from a video game? It's not different than thinking about bending over that Playmate from February of 2002 only this time it'd be "boy they really put her together well. If she were only real..."

Like it or not, video games and their contents are starting to become "art forms" with characters being more recognizable than real life actors or models. The permeation (sp?) of characters from game to other entertainment media was just a matter of time.

As for the Playboy pics ZM posted: Why'd they pick that chick from, what, Darkstalkers? Why not one of the other Tecmo girls (I think Nina from Tekken was supposed to be a fourth pic). The LSL gal was a no brainer, especially due to it's racy nature. And is it my imagination or does BR have tan lines on the top? A vamp...with tan lines. Heh.

And for the record: I think Sophitia from Soul Calibur is hot. And I know there are other guys out there who would agree.
