OK ive got to add the games that I most regret selling or trading :(

Panzer Dragoon Saga: me and my EX-best friend split the money to buy this the day it was released traveled over 100 miles both ways to get the game and it was worth it all.
still my favorite RPG ever.

All of my original NES games (except for the original Zelda) for a measly $70 waaay back around '92-93 almost all of them classics IN their boxes FF1,Metal Gear etc.

Over 25 of my favorite Saturn games including my fav Streetfighter of all time Streetfighter Alpha 2 (the Saturn version is even better than the arcade original IMO) and Nights among many others.

Me and my friend sold the Saturn and ALL the games (yes including PDS for exactly $75.00 cash to put toward the Dreamcast on launch day.

7 Trurbographix-16 games including my fav Ninja Spirits including a brand new Turbo system for a Goldstar 3DO with 2 games

later on I sold all my favorite 3DO games (Wing commander 3,GEX, and Dragons lair were my faves) in batch of 12 3DO games for like $25 freakin bucks

I wont even get into all the PSX games I ended up selling or trading though the 32-bit era wich was well over 50 or so.

Then the second most dumbass-thing-a-gamer-can-do-award (after the PDS thing of course) is when I sold my original Dreamcast and over 30 of the best games for it U.S. for around $80.00.

Ive also sold or traded 2 Xbox's and total of well over 40 or so games for it.

Ive had 3 PS2's that I traded but usually to get a new one even though I only had one really fuck up on me.

Oh the tangled web we sow.....THE HORROR ....THE HORROR..... :sob:

I would do almost -ALMOST- anything to get all that back now especially after my divorce it would help keep me out of a LOT of trouble on the weekends ;)

I gave away my Atari 2600 collection when the SMS came out. Later, I traded in my Genesis collection for a Playstation and then traded in many of my early PS games before realizing that the few bucks were not worth the aggrivation of wanting to play a game again maybe a year or 2 later and not having it.

I guess that is when I became a "collector."

Last year I traded in my copy of Guitaroo Man (before I knew it was worth something) for about 12 bucks. I was pleased at the time, I remember I had only paid 10 for it originally.

Damn that sucks. The only games I have ever sold off is my gameboy pocket with pokemon blue. Sold then for $13 total a few years ago. I have kept every other game and system Iv'e got since 1987.

That's funny, I sold my GameBoy Pocket with Pokémon Red lol. I traded it with my friend for a hat that looked like Brian Johnson from AC/DC's hat and $10-$15, I don't remember exactly how much. My sister had a GameBoy Color I kept stealing, and I got sick of my Pocket and had beaten Pokémon and got tired of it. I regret it now because I've gotten into collecting and would've liked to have had my Pocket lying around being part of a collection plus the fact that I got bitten by the Pokémon bug again and "Gotta catch 'em all" and for some reason am having a hard time finding another copy of Red. I have Blue, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, FireRed and Emerald and even the Japanese-only released original Green, but Red, the first one I had is long gone. I also regret trading in my sister's Blue and Yellow, cuz then I wouldn't have had to buy them at GameStop last year LOL.

My biggest regret is letting my mom get rid of all my old video game stuff. I probably could've repaired the systems cheap (I bet all the NES needed was a new 72-pin connector) and all the games should've still worked, but no, an Atari 5200 w/Pac-Man and Ms Pac-Man, an NES with 7 or 8 games, and a Genesis with 7 or 8 games are all long gone. I am praying she didn't just throw them out. I hope she was at least smart enough to sell them.

I also regret not buying a Game Gear when Ames still had them for $20. I dragged my feet on it for the longest time, then the store closed down. Then I had to buy mine on ebay for $40. But it came with four games and a carrying case so it wasn't a total loss.

Awww man, if I could turn back time I would save those systems from the attic of doom!!!
