Bump (Right?)

I have been not-too-actively trying to get the 2600 games I had as a kid, all boxed. What's that, you want the list? Okay:

Combat
Space Invaders
Sky Diver
Human Cannonball
Adventure
Video Pinball
Maze Craze
Warlords
Asteroids
Missile Command
Defender
Berzerk
Pac Man
Pitfall
Kaboom
Haunted House
Star Raiders

All I need is Adventure, and then maybe I will start replacing the cruddy boxes that I have. Also, I just found out that Maze Craze has two different artworks. I only had the cartoony one, but I want the other one too.
So if you see a boxed Adventure on eBay, please don't bid on it. Thank you.

I'd never really thought about it until now...but I seem to have gotten in a big pinball game-buying mode so I should continue until I have them all...for every system I own. I do think I have every one now for the PS1...I'll have to research and see which ones I still need. I think I'd also like every Activision game for the 2600.

Would it be wrong to go after every baseball game available for each of my systems? :D

I think I already answered this once but I'll do so again. :P

I find while collectiing for my ultimate goal (all english released RPGs) I tend to divide the workload into mini collective priorities. Like say all Zelda titles, or all Breath of Fires.

Here are some I'm working on or have worked on in the past:

Zelda
Status: Missing "Adventure of Zelda", Game&Watch, GBA "Link to the Past", and US "Zelda Classic GBA".

Breath of Fire (US)
Status: Complete.

Nippon Ichi
Status: Complete. But I would like to import "Little Princess"

Dragon Warrior
Status: Missing "Dragon Warrior Monsters" and "Dragon Warrior Monsters 2: Tara's Adventure".

Genny RPGs
Status: Missing "Rings of Power", "Sorcerer's Kngdom", "Fearry Tale Adventure". and some assorted manuals.

PSX RPGs
Status: Missing Suikoden 2 obviously and a handful of Square games.

Every NES game published by Nintendo, missing about a dozen. Mega Man 6 is a pain.
Wrasslin' games that AREN'T WWF or WCW licenses. Just getting started on this one, every Fire Pro game would be nice.
Berenstain Bears games, I look at the 2600 one and my wallet cries real tears.
Tony Hawk games. Every one. For every system.
Shanghai games. Getting started on this, slowly.

Coming ever so close to finishing up the PSX Fighter's Edge Variants. I think I need....two more to have them all.

At the moment currently figuring out what Long Box variants I need.

Don't even get me started on Eidos GH variants....

I've got a few going at the moment.

- The first isn't really video games, per se, it's Sonic memoribilia. My aim is to collect 1000 individual Sonic items (currently including games, but when I have 100 not including games, I'll seperate the games). So far I have... 90. :P I didn't even realise I had that many, so I'm going to have to move into a house just to fit it all in, eventually.

- All the Sonic games! Shock! :P

According to my birthday pack list, I am missing:

Sonic 1 & 2 for Master System (haven't found complete copies in the wild yet)
Sonic 2 for Game Gear (only have a cart)
Sonic CD (goes for $80+ over here on eBay :()
Sonic Spinball and Mean Bean Machine for the Master System
Sonic & Tails for Game Gear
Sonic The Fighters (WAHHH :( )
The original arcade Sonic game
Sonic Drift 1 & 2 for Game Gear
Sonic Blast for Master System
Sonic The Hedgehog's Gameworld for Pico
Tails' Skypatrol and Adventure for Game Gear
G Sonic for Game Gear (whatever the hell that is)
Sonic Jam for Saturn (I want the Jap copy)
Sonic and Knuckles Collection for PC
Sonic The Hedgehog Screensaver for (obviously) PC
Sonic 3D for Saturn (want the Jap one here as well)
Sonic Shuffle (sold both my Jap and US ones... I don't know why!)
Sonic Advance 2, 3 and Pinball Party for the GBA
Sonic Pocket Adventure for NGPC
Sonic Mega Collection for Gamecube (got a Jap one on the way, I hope!)
And, uh, SA3 and Sonic Gems because they aren't released yet. :P

Jeez that's a lot of games o.O If anyone has complete copies of ANY of them, please PM me. PLEASE.

- All the games I wanted when I was a kid. I've bumped a huge lot of them off the list, and am now down to just Um Jammer Lammy and Chocobo Racing (PSX). Squee! Too bad they're both expensive.

Edit: Humm, I think they missed out on a Tails Pico game. Tails' Music Maker or something? Either way, if it exists, I want! That and a beta of Sonic Crackers >_>

I'd like every Titus SNES game. I think I've got about half of them. It's going to be pretty hard, and I'm not wanting them complete either(but it would be nice.)

I hadn't realized it, but I have most of the NA Zelda games. Save for the CD-I ones, SNES Link to the Past and some of the GBC ones.

I have both NES Zelda games (gold), LTTP GBA, Minish Cap, Majora's Mask, Ocarina of Time, Windwaker, Collector's Edition, Ocarina/Master Quest, and Link's Awakening.

Not bad for someone who hasn't played through a single Zelda game yet.

My real collection is Resident Evil/Biohazard.

I've nailed down pretty much every NA release save for some PSX package variations and the PC version for RE3.
I've got perhaps a 3rd of the PAL RE games. And just a handfull of Biohazard games. Though I did just find the anniversary "suitcase" on evilbay.

I think in all, there is probably close to 100 games among the three regions. Once I finish the NA ones, I will have to decide if it is worthwhile to look for the other region stuff.

Its a bit of a silly collection in that I have several versions of the exact same game. I'm never going to bother playing each version.

For example my several copies of Resident Evil 2
Game.com (ok, this one is a bit different, but in a crappy way)
N64
Dreamcast - NTSC
Dreamcast - PAL
Dreamcast - JPN
PC (Platinum)
Gamecube
PSX - w/ movie ad - NTSC
PSX - GH - NTSC
PSX - PAL

I've only played the Dual shock version on PSX and the GC version. There is no need to play the others (except maybe n64 if I want to see how it is w/o load times, and to torture myself with the controller.

for nes:
all the megamans (#5 still eludes me)
and Tengen black carts doesn't sound like a hard one to complete. I have I think 14 different ones.

Also, I want to start collecting complete Genesis games in the hard case (not majesco re-releases) that had the red stripe on the side (Like disney's Aladdin). Anybody have a list like that? :-)

The problem right now is lack of cash

I've been working on Castlevania for years. I only need the box and manual for Castlevania Legends, a non-GH SOTN, Boxes for all the NES games, manuals for 1 and 3, Original Dracula X, and some of the other weird ones. I have all the U.S. released ones (well, not Vampire Killer or Haunted Castle) but otherwise I'm almost done with it.

I collect all games, which I like, or series which I like.
Most Adventure & RPG games.

Most I try to get Rare versions from my favourite games like Prototypes, Promos or Demos.

Sometimes when I don't own a console I try to get some games for it, but then only good games, which I would buy and play when I own this console. And when these are too Rare Versions, then I buy them more often.

This is the reason why I own Panzer Dragoon Orta Promo for X-Box and Zelda - The Wand of Gamelon Promo for Philips CD-i. These are good games for me, which I like and these are both Promo Versions which are hard to get. But I don't own a X-Box or CD-i. But I think about it to buy a Philips CD-i only for the Zelda / Link games.

And I collect in the moment all Demos for Nintendo DS, which I can get.
