Ok, there's a thread in another forum I frequent where someone mentions having a "platinum" disc of crash bandicoot, and someone tells them there's only 10 in the world or some such info. Any truth behind this? Surely someone here knows...or has three copies, heh.

Maybe he was talking about the Platinum Hits for XBox? I don't know what else it could be...

Well, he said "crash bandicoot 1", and that the disc is normally orange, I assume he meant PSX, but who knows. It will be funny if he's running around telling people he's got a "10 in the world" copy of an xbox plat hit though, heh.

this is most likely the case...he probably is talking about the xbox game.....but, id love to see some proof that would disprove me

im assuming if such a thing existed dangerboy would be pretty pissed bc not only would he need nba 2ball, he would also need this

i doubt it exists though

Doing a little googling can be a great help sometimes. Aparently Platninum is the GH of Australia. Im seriously doubting that its a 1 in 10 game because of that.

'Platinum' games were the PAL PSX re-issues along the lines of the US Greatest Hits (Europe aswell, not just Australia). A Platinum Crash Bandicoot is probably worth about $5 tops. And there's probably several hundred thousand of them in existence.
