These are my favorite threads because I always end up learning about new games & then I get addicted to them as well. I had no idea Dr. Mario was out for n64! And all this time we just play super dr. mario + tetris (only 2 player).
For me, by far
Tekken 3 - psx
Counter-Strike Source - pc
I've beat tekken 3 so many times I'm creating my own challenges (kind of patheic), but my setup now is I play CS on the PC (which lets me time travel) and when I die I play tekken 3 because I've got the little ps one w/lcd sitting on my computer desk as well.
That's the great thing about CS - I can play other games while I'm playing it (while waiting to re-spawn). How cool is that!

I'm gonna say Sonic CD. Reason why because of the fact in that game you can time travel from the past, present, and future. In my opinion, I'll consider it as one of the best Sonic games that was ever released from Sega. Plus the music is nice and tremendous.

What a coinici-dink...I was just asked this question last week...and then I bump into this thread... =P
Mars Matrix: I can't believe that it has been five-ish years since I first picked up the import version and I still end up playing it at least once every two weeks. The funny thing is that I never got around to unlocking everything (I still haven't purchased useless stuff like Free Play...I mean...by the time you get good enough to even concider unlocking it, you should be able to fly through the game with maybe two to three credits).
Super Street Fighter II Turbo: No comment required.

In no specific order:
Tetris Attack (SNES)
Sonic CD (Sega CD)
Virtual Pinball (Genesis)
ToeJam & Earl (Genesis)
Metroid Prime (Gamecube)
Granada (Genesis)
Sonic 3 & Knuckles (Genesis)
Super Mairo Bros. 2 (NES)
Operation Logic Bomb (SNES)
Rocket Knight Adventures (Genesis)
Metal Gear Solid 2 (PS2)
Marble Madness (Genesis)
Whenever I scan through my collection looking for something new to play, I almost always end up pulling out one of these instead. :embarrassed: Lack of self-control, I have...

Ack! Sorry for the double post here.
Add Jim Power The Lost Dimension in 3D (SNES) on my list. Can't believe I left that off. :eek 2: That game fascinates me for reasons I can't even begin to know what I'm talking about.

There's others I'll pick up and play probably forever, but those four come to mind as ones I could deal with being stuck with on an island.

I don't know why but Legend of Legaia just never gets old. I've played through it about 10 times now, and I still think it's fun. Although I haven't touched for about 8 months, reading this thread makes my want to go play it again. :D
Here is my list of games that I've been playing for years, and still do:
Robot Tank and Space Invaders on the 2600
Pepper II (coleco and Mame)
Pick Axe Pete and UFO on the old Odyssey2
These are just a few of the games I have that I play at least once a week. All those years, and still going...

There's lots of games for me. I bought that Ms. Pac-Man joystick game and the one game in it I can't stop playing is Mappy...I am so addicted to that. For the SNES, the game I keep going back to is Super Punch-Out...I never even lose at that anymore so I just try to beat my best times which I rarely do anymore because I've played it so much...and yet I keep playing it. I like certain puzzle games like Intelligent Qube and Kirby's Avalanch and various Tetris and Tetris-like games...and lots of baseball games. I also like some of the classic games I have on various home systems like Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man, Klax, Asteroids, Tempest and Missile Command.

SSBM. Never gets old, I'm always finding new trophies and stuff. I'm hoping the next one for Revolution has a lotta trophies so I can waste time unlocking them. I also find myself playing StarFox Assault a lot, mostly with my friends because they are very good at it. I haven't unlocked a lot of stuff yet though, I want to get Booster Packs Brawl so I can float around :P

It's a toss up... I've yet to get bored with Starcraft or Simcity. Everytime there's a LAN party Starcraft or Warcraft2 pops up and we play for hours. Even the dynamics of UMS on b.net are nice so it's a lasting game for quite some time. And Simcity just keeps getting better and more in depth, but the classic is still great gameplay. It's rough to say since both have been played by me for years and years and never put down for good.
