It's an official Nintendo-released system which lets you download N64 and Super Famicom games to a flash card; these games will be played on the unit which is somewhere between an N64 and a GC in terms of power (so I've heard...probably closer to the N64 lol). Not bad for an all-in-one.
At the time it came out I said "Sure I'll get one!" Well, a year has gone by and I'm no closer to buying one. Same with that Dragon Warrior almost-direct-to-TV motion sensing sword game system.
Interesting point: While China is supposedly offiicially on the PAL (PAL-D) standard, these units are NTSC. Hong Kong is also PAL, but Taiwan is officially NTSC...hmm...

Well that makes me feel better about my first reaction to the system......I do the same thing when I see something like this I think OOooooh, then I just bookmark the page and completely forget about it....lol

Hah! I'll match your "too lazy to buy it" and up you a "bought it and too lazy to play it".
>.>
I mean the sword and not the iQue. I can't say I ever wanted one of those.

I'll see that, and raise you with "bought it, been meaning to play it, but haven't even found the time to take off the shrinkwrap". (That'd be Xenosaga for me, or any number of e-Reader card packs.)
Come on, who's next?

Heh.
I dunno, you'd have to find someone who left it in the shipping carton or maybe even the department store bag. (:

I will be buying one after Christmas (I swear!) since it has been confirmed that new games can be downloaded via internet. I'm open to offers if anyone wants to sell me theirs.
