Yeah, I feel I want a TI-99/4A computer now. Perferably with a few game carts... or.. well..was there any form of removeable media for the TI, like a Tapedrive or Disk Drive?
THe question is:
How much should I be expected to shell out for one with a cart or two and what not? I mean..what sounds like a "Fair Price" to you?

I wouldn't say to much, I got my 2nd one from a yard sale, $10 boxed with a tape drive. I wouldn't spend more than 30 for one on ebay or something.

Heh, I find them at yardsales for $1 all the time, but then again I live right near a TI facility.

Yeah, I believe that the cassette drvie was the main way of saving information on the TI 99/4a. That's what my dad used anyway; in fact, he still has his TI computer with the tape drive and everything else.

It had an Expansion Box that you could put more memory, a 5.25" floppy drive, and a couple other things in.

Don't forget the Voice Synth module.

Don't pay more than $10. I saw one boxed at a Savers once for $17 and didn't buy it because it was too much.

If you can get one with an Expansion Box for $1.00 i need to come visit your area. @_@ The Expansion Boxes can go for $100 on Ebay and I have never seen one in the wild.
I would not spend more than $5 for a boxed Ti.

Alas, I have not yet found an expansion box for $1. I haven't found one at all, though if you wanted to pay going rates there are local enthusiast clubs (mostly older TI employees) that would sell them to you.
