Is there an actual *rare* Xbox game?

I see copies of Dai Senryaku VII everywhere here in Vancouver. Fun little game.

I think Phantom Crash will wind up being one of the rarer titles. I've only seen two copies since I bought mine. I'd also wager that Deathrow, Toe Jam & Earl III, and Voodoo Vince will all be considered as at least hard to find.

I suppose it depends alot on location/demographic area. What I may never see traded in to my store in 3 years, could have 50 copies sitting in a bargain bin at your store.
But here's my two cents on things I see as "rare".

Dai Sekeryuu seems to be pretty rare where I am. Only found one copy, and at Khols no less.

I get the feeling that Raze's Hell might get tougher to find in the future. I called several game stores in my area and EB was the only one that got it. Also, I get the feeling that Psychonauts will be a tough one as well. It might even get expensive once everyone starts realizing how amazingly great it is! 8-)

Raze's Hell is pretty common around here. If Psychonauts doesn't sell well, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see it become one of the pricier collectible games, but between the Xbox and the PS2, I'm under the impression that the sales are not dismal. Not to mention that a sequel has already been announced. Of course, a new Oddworld game was also announced right before OI shut its doors.

How about Battlestar Galactica? I haven't seen that too often.

I'd say until it's re-released, GTA: San Andreas. I think it was only out for a few weeks before it was pulled.

I'm assuming that even if and when it is re-released that the box art will be different, making the original uncensored version even more rare.

I didn't read this whole thread but I know it was mentioned just yesterday. I agree that Roller Coaster Tycoon is a rare title. I've only seen 2 copies for sale in my area. They were at different EB locations in different towns. I've never once seen it used and I hunt around a 4 town radius.

Confirmed by who? I see The Guy Game in almost every EBWorld and Gamestop I walk into. I don't think that MvsC is that rare either, the price is probably just because of demand

Yeah I agree, those aren't exactly rare, you can go on ebay and find multiple copies listed at any time...

It was available at Costco as one of those $18.99 games for at least two years after it was released. I also see it all over the place at smaller game shops and used at Gamestop and EBGames.
