msaqib1980 sells BOOTLEG GAMEBOY GAMES!

Very convincing with a high quality box and label But beware they are not real nintendo products. I just emailed for a refund we will see what happens. Paid over 60 bucks for a damned fake (ebay #8244408253) He also has 100% feedback.

Will buy from you, demand feedback and wait until he gets it, then try to blackmail you with feedback to send him the difference between the stamp on your package you sent him, and what he paid for shipping and handling, even if its only a couple of dollars on a bunch of games - he seems to think you aren't allowed to charge him for packaging or anything.

BUT.... if you take a look at his auctions, somehow he seems its fair to charge 7 dollars Priority mail to ship a tiny item.

He will also threaten paypal claims. Don't let it happen to you

Maybe someone should go through & create a LIST of names for post #1?

sethpackard Advertises games as "mint" and sends scratched discs/cases. Or advertises games as "working" but they DON't work.

I bought 20 games from him & had to send 15 of them back. He said "I'll give you a refund" but never did, thereby forcing me to open a paypal dispute. I got back my money for all 15 games + 5 games for free.

Will never deal with sethpackard again.

I won his game for $150,and reached his reserve price when NOBODY offered more than $70...he sent an invoice, and i paid him via paypal

He refunded me the money 1 day later,because i don't have a confirmed address...which is IMPOSSIBLE for european/french citizen like me,because Paypal don't do it,pure & simply.
My mistake is to not be an US citizen then...unacceptable.

Why putting problems on table, when you have a smooth buyer who pays immediately?who is for 8 years on Ebay,5 on Paypal?

yourmyfluffyone (fritz ghm, ebaynene@yahoo.com) from the US eBay...

...he had an item on eBay.com several months ago and I forgot to bid on it so I asked whether I could still buy it for the starting price, which he agreed upon. He didn't accept PayPal, so I had to go out of my way to get US dollars and send them to him. To save on costs I had asked for Surface mail, which can take up to 1-2 months. I waited it out until more than 2 months passed, and started e-mailing him, never receiving a reply. I then checked his eBay account and it turned out he was still active on eBay, so I msg'd him using the eBay messaging system...and he still did not reply. His feedback rating may be good, but he clearly scammed me when he had the chance, so I would not recommend dealing with him at all.

immediategameing - for being a dumbass.

He asked me to do local pickup when he's several hundred miles away, at LEAST (he's in TX, I'm in KY)... and when I said no, he came back and asked me to accept a $150 offer outside ebay for the item I was selling.

I replied that accepting his (really, REALLY stupid) request would cause me to forfeit what little seller protection ebay grants me, and that if he wanted my item so badly, he could bid on it like everyone else.

...that is, until I blocked his ass. :P

Just warning people about this tard.

P.S. he has a few negatives for not paying or sending. Methinks he was planning to resell my item.

immediategameing - for being a dumbass.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't think he really did anything that terrible, especially to warrant a blacklist. Buyers always offer to buy stuff off of ebay, even when you say in your payment details that you don't sell that way. I personally wouldn't even block him. Why toss away potential money?

He also has 1046 positives and a 99.3% ratio. I wouldn't exactly call this guy a deadbeat or someone who doesn't know exactly what he's doing.

I do have a serious problem with his dopey spelling of "gameing." Are you kidding? If you're a serious gamer (or over the age of 9) and you can't spell the active verb of what you do, that's pretty pathetic.

Edit: Wow, I just noticed that Sailor's post was written on APRIL 5, not MAY 5. I thought this was a new post (I guess it was to me). Oops. My b. My opinions stay the same though.

Bubboboo - avoid like the plague

I won an auction for 3 "new" Mega CD games, two sealed and one 'mint'. When they arrived, one was "sealed" in a resealable plastic sleeve, only the front half of the spine card was present, and was glued to the front of the case - and the case was grubby.

The "mint" unsealed game had a huge crack down the front of the case ... and no disc inside!

Absolutely shocking - not least because it must have been plainly obvious that he was giving a load of BS when he wrote the auction.

I've emailed him and unless I get at least 50% refund he's getting a negative f/b

I would like to nominate fredouille_l from CANADA as idiot of the year.

I stuck a load of videopac/odyssey2 stuff on eBay, 16 games in total.

a few people mailed me to ask how much to post to various areas, mainly parts of the US, now I can get cheap post to the US through work (not dirt cheap but cheaper) so I said to these people in the US $20, if it costs anymore I will take the blow.

anyway the guy who wins it didnt ask how much it would cost until after he won he lived in CANADA, so I send him an invoice for the purchase price and guessing this was fairly heavy estimated it to be in the region of £24.

he mails back saying that he thought that price was hefty and was there no cheaper... meanwhile I had already been
been to the post office, got the exact weight 3.5kg which came to £34.20 (or some such pence) but £34+. and heres me willing to send it and pay the extra £10 (nearly half what I sold the damn things for meaning I make £16 total for 16 cartriges one of them was NORSEMAN. but I honour my word.

I get back and say to him sorry mate, I cant get it cheaper infact its going to cost me £10 to send it to you as the actual cost is £34 not £24.

he then starts saying that I quoted the people in america $20 and he wants the same price.

BUT YOU AINT IN AMERICA YOUR IN CANADA YOU MORON !!!! (I say politely)

I say these aint my prices this is the royal mail.

he then sends me a link to the royal mails website and says that he reakons it weighs under 2kg, I tell him no its 3.5 kgs

he tells me how he has weighed 16 carts, manuals, boxes and cant get it to over 2kg (under 2kg the price drops you see)...but the fact is its 3.5kg I didnt put any exra lead in it or anything, if I could make it lighter I would doy you think I want to loose the extra £10 that I have underquoted him.

then he starts bitching that I have hiked the price, despite me sending back the link he sent me, with the weight, dimensions and the price being the £34 I said it was.

I even tell him just to pay me the ammount of the item and if he can find his own courier cheaper he can use them..

by this time I have had enough and remove the discount, screw him he pays the shipping costs as per the auction, so I re-invoice him for £34+the auction price.

his last mail was snotty like this

In these conditions, we had 2 choices:
you could adjust shipping price to something near £15 or we
cancel that transaction.

If you don't know the real shipping prices for outside GB, don't sell
worldwide, or don't promise anything you can't give. I've checked your feedbacks yesterday and it
looks that it's not the first time you're abusing int'l buyers like that.

I was willing to trust
you, but you messed it. So without trust, we have to cancel that transaction.
Ball is in your side...

so he wants me to charge him £31 for the item and post when post alone would cost me £34.

MORON !!!!!!

like I am going to know the shipping costs to every nation on the planet before selling.

I had enough so NPB him. and ruined his 100% feedback I wonder how many others he blackmailed like this.

of course I got a revenge neg but hey its not the first.

the previous incident he refers to was some woman I sent a book to, I charged her £10 post (again it was very heavy) when I got to the post office it actualy came to £6 but I didnt notice because I got about 7 items sent that day and the woman at the PO just gave me a grand total, the woman didnt mail me or complain or anything she just negged...fair enough, had she have mailed me I'd have paypaled it back after checking.

So far, I haven't had a bad experience on Ebay, but I did have one on Amazon. I paid $5 for priority shipping, but after one a half weeks, emailed the seller, jesslem, about why I haven't received my product. She didn't respond. Well, one week later, I get a package sent by media mail wrapped in copy paper (!) held together with scotch tape, and the shipping only cost 97 cents.

Her username on Ebay is cactus_jess, but is no longer a registered user there.

Bad seller: wingnutt1992

Bought a "VERY RARE" game "IN VERY GOOD CONDITION". Seller sent it in a bubble mailer & it arrived crushed. I complained, and they kept insisting "ALL SALES FINAL SORRY". They also mentioned that the photo showed that it had damage beforehand. Their "camera" was a flatbed scanner. I guess it's too difficult for a 1000+ FB seller to buy a digital camera and take real photos. Too difficult if you're intentionally trying to hide something, anyway.

I wanted 25% of the $100 cost back, but they refused. I opened a Paypal dispute & an originally civil discussion turned into a barrage of insults from them, and they THEY escalated the dispute to a full-out claim. Rather than degrade myself, I dropped the case. Hopefully they'll put it toward something useful, like new tires for their house.

luistrevor - Please, do yourself a favor and block this member from your auctions. He lives in Mexico to make future things clear.

1) In my auctions it says all international ebayers E-MAIL me before bidding. He ignores it and buys the auction (it was a fixed price auction)

2) I invoice him with $5 shipping (approx airmail charge). 7 days later he sends me a message asking me about the item. Stuff that was clearly stated in the auction, and you could clearly see.

3) Sends me $7 shipping and says I HAVE to insure the item. I tell him the only way to insure the item is by EMS and its $30 to ship then.

4) He links me with a global priority mail quote, i tell him i can send it that way but its not insured. He says fine, let me know when you ship.

5) 2 hrs later he sends me a message asking if i shipped, I ignore it as im going to ship it the next day.

6)Again sends me a message saying he hasn't heard from me, i tell him its going out tomorrow.

7)He e-mails he today saying he hasn't gotten confirmation that I shipped the game yet, and if I had he wants me to SCAN the recipt. Which mind you I of course threw out today, and its at some department store (LOL). I e-mail him back that I sent the item out thursday and that I told him that. He should get it in a week.

Lets see what comes next. I was going to leave him a neutral but this in my mind deserves a negative. I sell about 20 items a week on ebay and NOT one person every emails me asking if the item has been shipped. Infact 95% of the time I never even have contact with the person. They win auction, they paypal me, i ship item, they recieve item, feedback is left. Unless there is a special shipping request I never talk to the person.

Ban this bidder as this has been the biggest hassle and he will be getting a big fat negative from me, after I get my possitive of course :)

HotGameStuff Outlet, Nubytech's refurbished outlet store or whatever.

Like ClassicGameTrader, I ordered the two SF2 sticks from them, and like CGT I never got them. I gave these guys as much time as possible to make things right before I decided to try to get my money back (I waited until the very last possible day to leave feedback and file a dispute).

They were slow to respond to my first few emails (complaining about "shipping problems" and needing to find a new shipper) and then they outright quit responding altogether (once I started asking for a tracking number). When I left negative feedback on ebay, They responded that they'd refunded my money already and that I should be avoided.

For the record, they've yet to refund my money. I'm going to give them one more chance to make things right before I involve ebay/paypal, but something tells me they they're just going to ignore me yet again and hope I go away. What a bunch of assclowns.

southjerseygames

They're the same person, check his bio on ebay under the servicegames812 ID. He also goes by many other names, including VIDIDIOTS and NICK MORGAN.

This guy uses the servicegames812 ID to bid on items, then if he changes his mind, he places a higher bid with the southjerseygames ID and won't communicate or pay. DO NOT DEAL WITH HIM. EVER.

Newbie, but made sure he got some good feedback on like items b4 I bid on anything he had up. Won a PS1 Diablo said to be "mint, PERFECT, with absolutely no scratches". It arrived with quite a few easily seen scratches, albeit mostly hairline and play stuff, and PEN markings thru the UPC code on the back artwork, not just over it on the jewel case. He insisted that "there's NO way it was like that when I shipped it, there's no scam here", and refused refund. I subsequently re-messaged him to look at other games he'd gotten from the same source, to move them around in the light to check for scratches, as well as to check the UPC codes for markings that resellers sometimes put there. No response, even after getting his contact info. So, he'll get a negative for Christmas.

82ndAirborne1944
This seller shipped a PS1 console in a large BUBBLE MAILER! Shipping was quoted $6.99 in auction, but he charged an additional $2. I also paid additional for insurance... which of course he didn't bother getting. He doesn't believe the case got cracked during shipping because he's never had a problem before, and wants proof. Too bad I can't get the cracked case to show up on my scanner (no camera here). I don't care that I won the thing for a buck, the shipping costs more than made up for the low bid win. Seller said, "it's only twelve bucks, that's small change", but didn't like it when I said the same back to him. Another one that's getting a negative feedback for Christmas.

gasban
I won a said-to-be-mint game for $33 last night and PayPal'd immediately. I was refunded soon thereafter. Checked sellers other items on a hunch, and saw that same item is now listed with a $59.99 start and $60 BIN. Reported seller to eBay for fraud, got seller's info, called and left message stating same. Told eBay that I want my game, per seller's legally binding contract. We'll see, but I'm probably out the game, and funds are tied up.

zidane92 aka A AAROW HEADS Black Cat Video Game
Shipped PS1 strategy guide in brown shipping paper barely held on with very thin transparent tape. My NEW guide arrived partially out of the wrapping and was badly trashed on the corner that was hanging out. My bad as I'd had a similar previous experience with this one which I had forgotten about. I offered to return the guide for a refund, even repackaged, so he could see exactly what the problem was. Said how he ships ALL his stuff, with NO problems, and refused refund. Claimed he buys his shipping paper from a local packaging supplies store. It's thinner than a brown paper shopping bag! He actually TOLD me to ask the USPS what they thought of it. So I did. And I let him know their exact response, which was... "only a MORON would expect something like that to make it through their system without damage" followed by their raucous laughter. They also said, "that paper is used to wrap boxed goods that have excessive writing on them that would otherwise be refused for shipping." This one doesn't leave feedback so he can retailiate with neg fb.

I filed a Pay Pal claim almost a month ago still no resolution. I even offered to send it back on my dime for a refund. This guy is rude and condicending.

I opened a dispute because it's just total BS that he tries to say it's my fault, but what can I get out of it? $1 for returning the games, and I have to pay shipping. I'd neg his ass but I know he'd leave one in return.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250055477019

I paid for economy shipping to Germany, generally takes 2 months, sometimes 3 (I've had stuff shipped like this quite often), but the item still hasn't arrived and it's been 4 months. The seller doesn't respond to my eBay messages, so I have a hunch that he's scammed me since he knew that economy shipping takes 2-3 months, and that's past the PayPal and eBay dispute/claim deadline...so no way to get my money back (I've been scammed like this twice before so it wouldn't be the first time). I'm still hoping that the item is on its way, but it's hard to believe when the seller doesn't even respond to eBay msgs while still selling stuff on eBay.

If anybody knows him from a different site so that I could contact him elsewhere, let me know.

Typical scammer...never responded to any of my e-mails or eBay messages, yet when I left him negative feedback today he did have time to give me one in return within a matter of hours, where he claims to have responded to all of my e-mails! Jeez, we are going to have to make a list (alphabetically preferably) of all these crappy sellers! And I can add my latest unknowingly bought a pirate cart from a seller-doing-it-knowingly to it, haha!

I really get pissed off when a seller like one great video-game "Powerseller" (who for now shall remain un-named) with something like 10,000 feedback score charges me $10 US shipping and I get the game shipped in a plain (no bubble-protection even) envelope, and see the postal price they paid was 1.86! Sellers like this, in my view, should be required to state up-front their "processing fees" etc., and their lack of proper packaging up-front. They are making excess money off shipping, and ripping people off (albeit indirectly) in my view. I sell on Ebay too btw, but only charge a very close approximation to what it actually costs me to ship the item. And I always at least use a "bubble-mailer" for games, sometimes even a box :o

I would like to add gameliquidations to the list.
I bought two games from them waaay back on March 15. Two months later I have yet to receive the games. They never provided me with a tracking number, and wouldn't answer any of my emails. I decided to take it up with Pay-Pal. Once I did that I received an email saying they wouldn't deal with me cause I had resorted to a Pay-Pal claim. They provided Pay-Pal with 2 supposed tracking numbers that make me think I was being scammed, or at least that they never shipped out the games to begin with. One tracking number says the games have been in some processing center since March 20th, and the other that the USPS was notified about the package. So it all sounds like :bullshit: to me. They also never made any attempts to solve the issue, whether it be refund, re-shipment, discount, or whatever. I know ebay is full of shady people, but in all my years there this has got to be by far the most unprofessional seller I have ever dealt with. I would recommend staying the hell away from them.

Ebay Seller slmarc would like to enter the bad ebayer fray.

Basicly I won a mint complete copy of Super Mario RPG for like $100 AUS.
On the auction he stated that he only accepted direct bank deposit or money order.

Fine, I emailed regarding what his bank details were, no reply for a few days. I send another email, asking for his details. Still no reply.

After about a week I get an email:

hi,sorry about any delays,we had major dramas at work all this week, but don't worry, the game is yours fair and square

Awesome, so... details? No reply for a week.

But he still seems to be around becasue I got this email back:

Hi, Sorry to keep you waiting for so long, shift work and long hours play havoc... If you are still interested in Super mario, send money order to Shannon Menser at 27 Donegal RD Berkeley Vale 2261, If you no longer want item let me know and we will mutually withdraw. Thanks for being so patient.

Hurra.... what? He wants a money order now? So after about 3 weeks and a bunch of emails asking for details I only get two emails back and he wants a money order now, not direct deposit like I have been asking for.

He sounds a bit dodgy too, I asked if he has any more rare games and he just called them mario games and very vauge names, yet he was listing games like Final Fight guy complete and Castlevania: Vampires Kiss complete. Doesn't sound like someone knows what they are talking about.

This Ebay seller is nothing but a joke. He completely ignores your emails after you buy a item from him, and after leaving him negative feedback he retaliates leaving me negative feedback back. I paid within seconds of using the Buy It Now. He then persuades that he'd remove the negative if I remove mine first. Then I follow through on that assuming he'd be a good faithful seller, but apparently not I bought a supposedly "mint" condition Final Fantasy VII for PS1 for $49.99 and the first disk had 5+ scratches on it (Ebay Item #170116028274). Takes over a month to pay, sends the money order made out to my eBay name and tries to tell me to alter it. Then negs me for sending to the "wrong address", yet I ship to the one eBay provides me.

Total asshole, even has the balls to send me "WHERES MY GAME" when it took him a month to pay.

jillygames has been noted in this thread before on page 7. My story is here: http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=104744, and based on the feedback I see, that is standard practice for her.

I'll nominate

bestpricehq

Simply because the seller refused to combine shipping - in my opinion - this looks like trying to inlfate shipping to get the desired price for the item without paying ebay fees appropriately. For example, listed some NES manuals for $0.01 and shipping of $2.95 standard flat rate but won't combine say three like NES manuals for combined shipping. What a joke! Besides, shipping for a single NES manual even in a padded envelope would not cost $3!

Yeah, bestpricehq......they took forever to ship out one SNES game I won from them via BIN.

But on the flip side, it was Ninja Warriors (R6) for $9.99. LOL

Power seller yet still a scammer! Bought & paid for item August 2nd, seller had marked the item as payment received a couple days later, yet item never arrived. No response from seller to eBay msgs and e-mails. eBay dispute filed, no response from seller. Negative feedback left and eBay claim initiated, first response from seller: "will provide a refund."

Still no refund, and in the meantime seller left a retaliatory negative + replied to the negative I left stating that he had told me that the item was not available after purchase (which is obviously not true)! He also removed the "payment received" status of the item. The item I bought was at least 4x as expensive as all other items that he seems to have sold in the past month, so that must've been the extra incentive for him to scam me.

I would definitely avoid this seller! Nothing worse than a scammer hiding behind a high feedback (power seller) rating!

Do not do business with this (assumed) woman! This user's address is given as being on a military base in Northern Canada, and you can imagine how long it takes items to make it through both customs and the Canadian military's own security measures.

Not only did this user not read the item descriptions for the auction, but she also paid for USPS Parcel Post shipping and then had the audacity to demand that it be shipped Express! She has requested, and has been given, the tracking number on several occasions, yet still is unsatisfied. Despite all of the whining and crying, this person's communication is extremely poor, so if you have a verbal dispute, don't expect to have anything resolved.

Avoid like plague!

This guy makes to my shit list as the first seller.

The reason is the douche charged me 13 dollars for ship on DXC pre-order figure (which is reasonable, you can usually get a big box stuffed with bubble wrap, which can fit 2-3 games). Turned out the guy sent my figure in a 1.80 dollar bubble mailer. The packaging was totally and utterly destroyed. I understand he uses someone to ship the items but 11 dollars is WAY too much. He also doesn't combine shipping.

He also seems to be a real ass when responding to negatives. I'll wait for my revenge neg now.

Oh, and he insults international buyers claiming that they can't read.

Dude has no feedback, BIN'd a couple of Nintendo Power Auctions of mine a couple months ago. No response at all until non-pay disputes were opened. Buyer gives me some nonsensical drivel:

"After the bid was entered, a confusing message was displayed. It did not confirm that the bid was accepted nor that payment had been received. I don't purchase items on the net unless the path of payment is absolutely clear."

No prior messages stating such, so it's obviously remorse setting in. Last day disputes are open, posts more crap:

"We were responding to an item that we believed to be an immediate purchase. It didn't provide a means for immediate purchase. We purchased another item that was an immediate purchase, not a bid.

Please end all of your complaints against me. It was an honest misunderstanding. I would consider bidding on your items in the future. I would expect that you would act in a business-like fashion."

Buyer had BIN'd a single issue of NP from another seller.

Funny thing is, the guy has been a member of eBay for close to SIX YEARS. They've obviously learned nothing about how eBay works in that span of time.

I want to neg them, but am afraid of retaliation.

Add them to your blocked bidder list.

Bunbunz23, aka airforceshields, failed to ship "The Ultimate XBox Collection" that I won on an accepted offer just before Halloween. There were several hundred games, the console, steel battalion controllers, etc. Overall a really nice lot.

Paid the $1700 plus shipping almost immediately, and never heard a word again. Seller had 203 feedbacks, with a 98%+ rating.

PayPal dispute got me back $200 but nothing more.

Seller is Kevin E Shields, of Woodbridge, Virginia, who used to post on here (found him by google) as kevdeeshields.

Even a negative feedback didn't elicit a response.

I'm not sure what I can do at this point, ebay and paypal are less than helpful about getting my money back. I have no idea if this can be dealt with through law enforcement.

Ok, so no one posted the list of all these douchebags, i spent ages reading this 6 year old thread and compiled the list, some people are not included so if people are willing to go back and add some of the other names, go for it, but, the majority are there and i read the reason for all but maybe 2 or 3. Also its not in alphabetic order as i just spent like, too long reading this entire freakin thread. If this can be added to either a new thread of the same nature or the first post would be great for all.

So enjoy,

If you put any part of that transaction on your credit card, even if it was through paypal you can open an dispute with your CC company. So if PayPal draws funds from your credit card, file a charge back. That should make PayPal deal with it because the Credit card company will take all the money back.

Also known on PayPal as: NextShelf LLC

I never received the CD I purchased from this seller, and this seller did NOT return any of my attempts at communication, neither when I tried to resolve the issue through messages on Ebay nor when I initiated a dispute with PayPal. Now, after escalating to a claim, I still have yet to hear anything.

Despite a high positive feedback rating, this seller dropped the ball and apparently has little regard for communication.

I'd recommend adding stychokiller to your blocked bidder list. Paid via echeck then sent a snotty email complaining when I held shipment (as Paypal recommends) until the check cleared, then left me neutral feedback for 'poor communications', apparently because I dared explain the rules to him. Bad attitude, doesn't understand the system, leaves retaliatory feedback. What less can you ask for in a buyer?

Purchased a GameCube game recently from bestdeal_sofida and would NOT recommend dealing with him.

1. The game was listed as NEW, SEALED which was critical for my purchase
2. His English is particularly poor, both in the listsings and in correspondence
3. He is particularly slow at replying to e-mails
4. His item location showed Dallas, TX which is just a few miles from me ... but his e-mails (and the package itself) indicate that it ships from Canada.

Now for the best part. This is incredible:

4. When I checked out, I was offered a choice between $6.99 Media Mail Shipping, and $7.99 "Other - See listing for details"
5. I chose $6.99, not caring how long it took to get here
6. After checking out, I decided I'd read all the fine print to see what "Other" was
7. OTHER means "I WON'T OPEN YOUR SEALED GAME and STICK THE DISC IN A SLEEVE so I can send it, by itself, cheaper." Paying for Media Mail means he opens the sealed game, takes out the disc, puts it in a sleeve, and sends it to you. Getting everything else intact costs an extra dollar.

WHAT THE ****

Buyer: bowagedin

The buyer paid for this item through Pay Pal at 11:59PM on 8/29/08. 8/30 was the Saturday before the Labor Day weekend. The Post Office was closed on Sunday 8/31 and Labor Day, 9/1. I shipped his item via Priority Mail on 9/2. Here is the tracking number:

9101 7850 9140 1710 0750 33

Now...I live in Michigan and he lives in California. The package was delivered today, 9/5/08. So everything should be good right? Wrong. I check my feedback tonight and I see this Neutral Feedback from the buyer:

"EXTREMELY slow shiping, but all got here in ~ok~ condition."

So I email him and ask him what I should have done different as I am unsure how this could have arrived any faster since there was a weekend and a holiday involved. His response was "That's Life". I ask him, "What's life?" and Seriously, what should I have done different? And of course he won't respond to that.

Seriously, eBay really needs to change their feedback policy. We as sellers, have absolutely no protection at all.

Removing buyer feedback was a bad decision on their part. Still, the feedback system in general makes the site feel too tense. I've heard just as many bogus/scamming/rude buyer stories as I have sellers.

Yeah that sucks, but at least it was only a neutral, which no longer harms your overall feedback %. I've received negs in similar situations. Some buyers are impossibly impatient and there's nothing you can do about it.

Paid for item to be sent by NORMAL airmail, without insurance (which was proposed to him) and as usuel, made Paypal chargebacks. Of course i don't have any tracking number to propose, since he did not pay for it.
He did a choice to be cheap,if the package gets lost, he has to ASSUME.
Otherwise any $2 game should be sent with $25 shipping quote.

Now, he's surely playing my game, and get his money back as well.

Edit: You can add this guy:Craig Lee (united kingdom), been fu**ed as well with 32X Pal games.
I sent the stuff,he got it,made a paypal claim, and got his money back, since he didn't pay for online tracked insured airmail, so i can't protect myself.

Well I have a winner her efor you all. Item # 220258557467. Bidder is dtisback2000. As most of you know I listed a bunch of items around a month or so ago ( sold most of em thanks guys!), to help get my car fixed. Well anyways had a few that didn't so I listed em on eBay. Most of my sales went without a hitch. Save this one.

First just to get him to pay I had to file a non paying bidder alert, then he sends me a money order 4 days later. So basically two weeks till the time he sends payment. So at this time my car dies essential, before it was coasting could get two second gear if its lucky. O I am spending every waking moment trying to get things taken care of to get it fixed etc. Finally find a rebuilt tranny and my nephew and his friend get it installed get it in running order, took about two weeks total to get everything done. During this time I had no transportation anywhere he took me to work and back. About a week after getting payment I e-mailed him explaining the situation, asked him give me a few more days and I will have it out. He then contacts e-bay and files a neg on me (mind you I have all saved e-mails both ways). Then he gets my contact info from eBay and calls me about 4 times over a two day period then threatens to call the police.

I get his package mailed finally. Two weeks after payment.E-mail him with a scan of the dc and receipt from post office. So then what does this winner do, he complains about how it was shipped parcel and not priority. I went back to see how much he was charged for shipping. I underestimated charges and only charged him 5 bucks for shipping ( which was stupid on my part don't know if I made a error when I listed I didn't catch or what). It cost me 12.50 just to ship it parcel with dc, would've been almost 20 dollars to ship it priority. Obviously at this point I could give a rats ass as he already negged me. Then he sends me this e-mail-

"hello liar, have not received items yet. however, you charged me for priority shipping but sent them parcel post. i have contacted eBay about this and you will be getting an email. i hope they take appropriate action and not let you sell anything else. i will be watching to see if you list any more items, you never no there may be a fake bidder on your items so you can see how it feels."

I contact eBay send them everything they ask for wait three days and they respond about a beta game auction I had closed. Great customer service. Now I get to do this all over again.

Now yes its not his problem that I had rl issues. But if someone would've contacted you explained the situation (over a small dollar item mind you). You would have a little bit of patience especially after taking forever to make payment to begin with. I am not asking for the neg to be removed. I can live with it over time ( even if it wasn't warranted). But the fact he threatened to ruin my account, and basically harassed me at home, no that dog wont hunt.

i despise this guy.

This guy advertises dw IV complete, excellent condition.. was expensive (130 Us + 15 shipping which cost me about 180 Aus $) but since it *looked* near mint/complete i got it. Before i bought it i asked specifically if the map/posters had any rips/tears in them he says no. When i got the game the posters ripped so bad they were nearly falling apart, with some young kids scribble all over them. I told him i wanted a refund his like yeah sure. I sent the items back, i forgot to include the cart so i sent that seperately (even more money). Later i asked when i get my refund and his like,

"No, I have not received anything back, nor was I expecting to. Even though it has been over a month since the auction ended and plenty past the 14-day return policy, I'll see what I can do after the items have arrived. Please e-mail me back about more of the details of reason of return and shipment method you used because as of right now I'm completely clueless. Thank you."

Im thinking bull sh*t and f%&* you!!! He said he'd give me a refund. I dont care about 14-day return policy because i didnt get what i paid for which was very, very expensive. I only get a meager 160 aus $ per fortnight for arduous study, so you can imagine how hard i got hit here. His excuse for the screw up was that he put my map/poster into someone elses auction which is probably a lie, he just wants to make as much cash on the as crap items.

So yeah i messaged him and reminded him why i returned it, and his like Oh yeah sorry, i forgot blah blah. I will refund it when i receive the items... I know his received them and im not getting bugger all back *weep*.

billsportscardz is my candidate.

Although his ass has beein served with the NARU'd banhammer, he does have other accounts to look out for. I am trying to find these accounts.

The guy sold, or should I say 'listed' many sealed SMS games. First time I ordered he told me he was moving AND that his brother's mother had cancer, so all the games he had were still packed away in another state (from his supposed other "store"). He told me either he will refund me or I could wait two weeks. I told him I will wait.

More than two weeks passed and I contacted him. Now he tells me that he was unable to get the game because HIS MOTHER had cancer (no mention about his friend) and that he was unable to go. So it was his friend's mother who had cancer, now it's HIS mother? Please. He refunded all my money but did send one of the games.

Having gotten my cash and the game, and out of being too nice, I decided to give him another shot. I won 4 SMS games, sealed, and really dead cheap prices. I contacted him several times, to no avail. I decided to contact two other buyers who purchased from him at the same time (one of them is a DP regular) and both told me they have not have any dealings with him. One person told me that the seller told him that his account was hijaked because he lost his Paypal Debit Card. WTF? He never told me or the other buyer. Yet ANOTHER excuse.

None of us sent cash...and now he has been NARU'd.

I am warning about this guy, who's real name is Bill Dixon, because he is such a faker. I will try and obtain his other accounts so I can post them here.

Horrible seller with horrible communication.

This person threatened me with a negative if I didn't accept a return (which was because of a mistake, I sold her a fairly damaged item and didn't mention it on the auction). I didn't have any choice but to accept a return, so I waited for the item to get here. I sent a message saying that I couldn't send a refund right away because I didn't have enough funds... and it turned out she gave me a neutral two weeks ago and never mentioned it.

Goddamnit I wish I could neg her.

Block her ass. Don't deal with her.

Don't sell to fro154.

The guy bought a three NES game set from me, and claimed one of the games did not work. I tested all games before shipping them out. He then asked me to pay for a replacement game, which I don't want to do. He wanted me to pay twice what the game's worth! I said I'd refund a third of the sale price (fair for a three game set), and he wants me to pay more than that.

Just avoid this scumbag.

Is there a chance of making a thread dedicated to good, trustworthy, private sellers?

I'm gonna be using ebay a lot in the next few months, I wanna know who's good to use!

Such a list would be absurdly sprawling and ridiculous. An overwhelming majority of sellers are just fine. Even if something goes wrong, ebay/Paypal is heavily favored to the buyer, so you'll be covered.

Can you post a photo of the fake game so I can see what to look out for? How did you know it was a fake?

As he said, you'll be fine for the most part. Buyers have more protection than sellers do in some cases. Just look at the seller's feedback and decide if it seems trustworthy. Also if an item seems too good to be true, it probably is. Unless of course there are a good amount of pictures.

I'm sure most of the people here have had more good experiences than bad experiences. I've purchased video games from ebay on and off throughout the decade and only had one bad experience (seller is no longer one ebay so he isn't going on the list).

This is what Paypal's "Significantly Not As Described" claim is for. You get your money back and (usually) they just tell you to keep the item.

The post you quoted is seven months old, so I'm sure it's been resolved by now. Also, you absolutely DO NOT get to keep the item when you file a Not-As-Described dispute. You have to mail it back, with proof of delivery, before the funds are released to you. If you make a deal with the seller, that's one thing, but the above is the official Paypal policy.

Everyone avoid sflaoaknyc I dont recommend buying or selling or associating with this individual. If you type his username on google and the word scam you will find several results on varioius websites pertaining to him. Its becoming word of mouth that this guy is some kind of professional scam artist on various different message boards. I just recently dealt with him , I sold him a loose earthbound cartridge on Ebay for $69 dollars however this guy tried to do a chargeback scam on me. He tried to claim that I didn't send him the game I almost had to pay him back cause I had no proof it was delivered.

This guy almost got away with the chargeback scam cause the fact that he makes all of his auctions private listings , so I couldn't see if he tried to pull a fast one on me by selling my game and stealing money from me through chargeback. Luckily I didn't give up and simply typed his username on google along with keywords like earthbound , and then bingo I found an auction where he was selling my cartridge. I sold him that earthbound cartridge , it had specific label damage done to it , and the cart he was selling on ebay had the same exact damage done to it. It was clear to paypal that he was scamming me and therefore I won my case against him.

Heres a few links that show this sellers character.

Ps: And I mean it don't let him buy your products or let him sell anything to you , he will find a way to scam you.
