Walked into a local game shop I hadn't been in previously. As I was poking around through a runty pile of 2600 and 5200 carts the guy behind the counter asked if I was "into that really old stuff".

I cautiously replied yes. (I've been in this situation too many times. You're either gonna get a bewildered look or...wait for it...you're gonna score. 50-50)

So he goes to the back, rummages around on a shelf and comes back with an Atari 5200 VCS adapter. "We've got this thing but have no idea what it's supposed to be. I think it's a game. I'll give it to you for $10."

snagged arkanoid and the paddle controller for nes for 12 bucks from one of our stores.... carts got some ink staind son the back, but i'll just swap the cart out for another next time a loose arkanoid comes in :)

Well lets see. First I got Suikoden 4 with artbook in the mail today, then I found a complete copy of Guilty Gear a pawn shop and lastly I picked up the Rez "Pure Evil" pack at gamestop.

I found REZ complete for the PS2 at a pawn shop for 10 dollars and I picked up some MVS carts at a thrift store for 20 dollars. I saw two complete NCAA basketball 2K3 at gamestop but I did not want to pay 29 dollars for the game. I might reconsider next week

Had to drive to a couple of stores to find a copy.

Best Buy was sold out and I bought the last one Gamestop currently had.
