At the base thrift store I got 2 complete Genesis games for $3 each - Shinobi 3 and Fatal Fury 2.

Also picked up a CD-X with 2 controllers (1 6 button and 1 third-party), video cable and the power supply tho the part that plugs into the console has to be replaced = $15. Tested and works great.

And last got a Pioneer DV-C302D 3 disc DVD player for $15. Had a return policy there so no risk. Got it home and it plays like a champ. Now to scour the thrift Weds for the remote. This things plays DVD burns, CDR, VCD, SVCD and is region free :)

I went back to Toys R Us today (well, yesterday now) and picked up Tennis 2K2 for the Dreamcast on clearance for $1.90. I also picked up Spyro: Year Of The Dragon (the third installment of the Spyro series for the Playstation One) for $4.50 after the green tag discount. I went to my local video game store (that has everything from Atari 2600 games to modern systems/games/accessories) and picked up F-Zero (no box but it did have the original instructions) for the SNES for $6.95 and NBA Jam (also no box but has the original instructions) for the Sega Genesis for $2.95. I'm quickly running out of places to put my games!

yeah, I can't remember it though. They suck hard though. They get in lots of imports and cool stuff but are VASTLY expensive. But MY gamezone is quite different from the other stores out there. It's run a lot better, gets in a lot of rare/hard to find stuff, is priced a lot better, ect. The way the owner Tim explained it to me is that they rent out the name from them somehow. I've been to the other two stores near Mesa and they SUCK. I was even in there the other day and one of the guy's was doing a store to store call to the old lady I've seen working at the other two stores and she hung up on them. Lol.

Both Tetris & Dr. Mario came CIB. Dr. Mario is MINT. The box is perfect, the cart is perfect and it looks like no one has ever touched the instruction booklet, the Power poster or NP subscription card. Tetris is in great shape too, but no where near Dr. Mario.

I most happy about finding Kirby Super Star for $6. Its the only game that I hadn't played before and the DP guide lists it at $20... =)

I cleaned my closet today! Haven't done that...ever! I'm 19, so obviously I found a lot of stuff that instantly got tossed... :)

Jumping Goomba toy dated 1989. There's a suction cup on its chin and if you push it down it pops up and does a flip.

Meowth talking figure. Stands about four inches tall, turn it on and whenever it hears noise it tells you to go buy Pokemon! LOL

Empty box for Zelda: Ocarina of Time Collector's Edition. Already had the cart and instructions, so this makes my first complete N64 game sitting on my shelf. :D

Pretty good day, I'd say. As a bonus, cleaning the closet allowed me to re-fill it with the stuff that had been piling up in the corner of my room, thus I was able to move my couch into a better position. Now four people can actually sit in here at once!
