I might have lost a few games along I80 in Ohio. I rolled my Explorer right before the last tollway service plaza, shattered the windows and sent games and movies and everything flying.

i dont thats whats so odd about it!
i'm only joking though.

this i am not joking about, at one of my jobs i emptied the trash into the dumpster each night and one night i found 2 rental dreamcast units in hard plastic cases, both with a controller, RFU and Power Cords each.
one worked one powerd on but had the lens poked out with a pencil....i have been cursed with these fucking consoles since i found the damn things, i later on got a broken dreamcast with a working laser assembly and i tried swapping it out only to have the whole thing go to shit so i had 2 dreamcast bricks and then the other one up and stopped all together on its own accord.

Once noticed an N64 connected to a small tv for kids to play in a dentists waiting room. I looked at the stuff and found a few SNES carts ( i think Bubsy and a few sports?) and a lone Mario 2 NES among the 64 carts in the cubby of the tv stand. Guess they didn't know the N64 couldn't play them (Nintendo games being Nintendo games to your average person). I wonder how many kids found it and thought, "OH! MARIO!" and tried to jam that sucker in. Dentists are sadists. ;) Twisted, I know. LOL

I would've thought this was weird, even for Japan, until I saw you were in Shin-Urayasu. I've never been further than the mall ~3 blocks from the station, but legend has it that it's a dirty, dirty place. And I don't mean dirty. ;)

Yes, we have our moments here! What do you expect from an old fisherman's village in Bumfuck West Chiba?

Unfortunately for story continuity, I found the Turbo Duo in Kashiba, in Nara-ken. Which definitely makes it weirder!

Last month, I spotted a misplaced R.B.I. Baseball cart in a case of Genesis games (which was not next to the store's NES case). Then I took a look at their NES stuff, and spotted a complete Ms. Pac-Man for Genesis (in the cardboard box) with the boxed NES games. Guess they switched places. LOL

Here's an update for the hell of it: I visited that store again earlier this week, and Ms. Pac-Man had been moved to the Genesis case. However, R.B.I. Baseball was still in the Genesis case.
