Guess it's time to list some more accomplishments!

Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!: Not to be outdone by Adam, I have finally beat this game with a 14-0 record, all KO's (as opposed to winning by decision), and without continuing at all. That finale against Tyson was a real tough, but since I managed to counter ALL of his instant KO punches in the first 90 seconds of the round, things turned out alright. :D

Eternal Champions: Challenge From The Dark Side: I expected this game's easiest difficulty to be harder than the default difficulty of the Genesis game, but thankfully, I found that was not the case. I beat both the Eternal Champion and the Dark Champion on Warrior difficulty with my three best characters so far (Larcen, Trident, and Dawson), and who knows, I might take on Champion difficulty too.

Tekken 5: I've completed Story Mode with every character and beat Devil Within, but that's not to say I beat it... I'll have to win hundreds of Arcade matches to get everyone's customizable items. If only there was a faster way to get money... *sigh*

Lords of Thunder: What an awesome game this is, but godDAMN, that was a challenging final battle!

Psychic 5: This is a damn obscure title (that I may choose for MAME Club someday, if it hasn't already been choson) that's pretty quirky, but a cool game nonetheless. That Jaleco... thems is an underrated company.

Bokosuka Wars: Okay, so I used savestates liberally, but come on, who ever actually beat this freaking game?! I don't know how many "WOW! YOU LOSE" screens one can take before folding.

I've decided to stop being such a lazy bastard and finish up games I started a while back. I seem to have a major problem with starting up games, getting nearly to the end in them and then stopping. I'm weird. Don't know why I do it, but recently I've thrown down the gauntlet and knocked out a few titles.

X-Men Legends
Metroid Prime
Knights of the Old Republic

Working on a few more beyond these, then I will start a new game. (I'm eagerly anticipating Baten Kaitos!)

Half-Life 2

I was in City17 a few months back but stopped playing and recently had some comp trouble so after reinstalling, I was back to square 1. Got through the game pretty quickly and had a blast. City 17 gets quite frantic and the ending Citadel level was quite linear and simplistic. Easiest boss battle ever. Overall awesome experience.

Anyways, awesome game...gotta get around to finishing the others. Too bad the secret level's so damn hard though...I really wanted to fight Dracula! :(

I hope the DS version is just as good, hopefully better. With touchscreen controls and all, couldn't be a more perfect way of utilizing the DS's vast possibilities.

Time for an update!

Beat Half Life 2 a great game if your comp can handle it give it a go. Not as ground breaking as the first but a excelent FPS none the less.

Beat KOF Maximum Impact. Not a good game, infact its a bad game IMO.

I dont know whats up with story mode but basically the story goes something like this.

Random Clown guy: "You next fight will be against (insert name)".

Then you beat the fighter down with who ever your charictor is.

Random Clown Guy: "Your next fighter will be against (insert name)"

And this goes on till you get to the second to last fighter at witch moment clown guy appears and says.

Random Clown Guy : "Sorry to keep you waiting your next to last fight is against (insert random name)."

What the hell kind of story mode is that!!

The grapics are not all that great especially with the dropped frames. Then theres this little bugyness with K' if you hold his heat drive his leggs get all jittery.

Bah theres too much more bad crap to wright about. I'd better stop now.

Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon: If I could beat it five years ago, certainly, I could now!

Doom 3: Man, I LOVE the Soulcube. It served me well in the latter bits of the game.

Super Fantasy Zone: Things get hellish around the last few stages, and the boss rush finale is a pain... until you get to the final boss, then you realize that everything before that was mere practice. What a tough!

Adventures of Batman and Robin (Both the Genesis and SNES games): Both gave me a decent challenge, but not too much for me to handle. The Riddler's chessboard in the SNES game nearly had me blowing chunks, though.

Double Dragon (SMS): After I realized that a hit-and-away strategy can pretty much best every enemy, the game suddenly looked a whole lot easier.

Doom Troopers: The Mutant Chronicles (Genesis): Harder than Contra, I'll give it that.

Final Fight CD: Okay, so I beat the arcade version already, but that didn't have limited continues!

The Immortal (Genesis): Now I don't know whether or not I like it better than the NES version. The improved graphics and lack of annoying bats was a definite plus. It also had some things that the NES version didn't, but on the other hand, the sound wasn't as good. Still, glad to beat it, even though I had played through the NES version.

Arkanoid: This is a bloody lie. LOL

... :(

Finally managed to play through Ikaruga (GCN) on Easy mode. I can make it to the final boss on Normal mode but haven't been able to beat it yet. As for Hard mode... well, that's something for the future.

I'm still trying to unlock the gameplay demos of level 4+. This game is tough!

- Finished another season of NCAA Football 2004 GCN (No national championship, but I did win the Orange Bowl with Michigan)
- Finished a Super Bowl winning season of ESPN NFL 2K5 with the Chiefs
- Finished a season of MVP Baseball 2004 and won the World Series with the Cubs (hey, it could happen)
- And outside of sports games, found the time to beat Halo 2.

I've got a lot of games on the go where I'm "close" to finished, but not quite over the hump. I should take some vacation time from work and hammer those ones out. (Anybody got any good tips for the final boss in Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga?)

Now I'm trying to decide if I should jump right into Eternal Blue or start up Shin Megami which I've been wanting to play for a while now.

I finally beat Grandia II on DC about a week ago.

I think that it was a very good game. It wasn't trying to be Final Fantasy, and for what it was, it was fantastic.

Good:

-Writing
-Character development
-Battle System rules
-Nice, shiny, clean graphics
-Music that is there is good

Bad:

-Storyline is sort of blah
-Voice acting is t3h sux. Where is Japanese w/subs??
-Not enough music variety

I'm very glad I put the 40 or so hrs into it though, time well spent. Now I need to play through Skies of Arcadia.
