Howdy!

I've recently moved back to Texas from Manhattan and am curious to know if there are any conventions or gatherings in the area?

I can't seem to find any, but I talk to so many folks down here at the local EBgames who 1) would love such a thing, and 2) never suspected that there were gaming conventions.

I've been to the Philly Classic a few years in a row, and CGE once a couple of years ago. They were great, and I was able to enhance my collection considerably.

If there are no Houston or Texas conventions, would anyone be interested in helping me get such a thing going? Does anyone have an idea on what it would take to get this rolling?

Thanks!

OVGE (Oklahoma Videogame Exhibition) is this June in Tulsa, OK.

AtariAge's annual get together (AGE) is in Austin, usually in the fall.

Bummer, just not enough, nor close enough.

Hmmm, what to do, what to do...

These guys do a decent arcade show each summer (since 2002):

They haven't announced a show for this year yet, but you can sign up for an email alert.

You can check out last year's pics ... and the prior years' too. I've been the past two years and help out with the game list.
