Mayhem handles the Neo Pocket stuff.
I think the Videopac is covered already by the Odyssey2 editor [pdf?] aswell.

I've fleshed-out the GX4000 listings, but have sold most of my games now, and probably won't be doing a great deal more with it.

I could submit a rough listing of Euro GameGear releases, but it's probably missing a few and I haven't really got time to research it more thoroughly at the mo.
I may aswell start a topic for it though, and anyone else can throw in bit & pieces. (Unless the US GG editor is going to take care of it?)

I'd be willing to pass on the MegaCD section aswell, if there was a suitable candidate - I haven't really got the time to properly look into pricing and stuff in too much depth at the moment. (ditto the Japanese Mega Drive list - there's a skeleton listing up, but I don't know enough to accurately judge rarity & pricing). I'm happy 'babysitting' them in the mantime, though.

Oh, and we may aswell stick the 32X/CD games in just one or the other - I don't mind either way, but they should at least agree (I think we've each got them rated slightly differently at the moment)

I wrote Joe a PM that I'd like to do the CD32 list, but no reply yet :/ It's cool that the PAL lists finally get done one after the other, it's about time =)

I would if I had a Mega CD I don't really know much about it bar the Sensible Soccer Demo I have ^-^

I have pondered doing the XBox or the Jag/Lynx ones if I can find the time as I'm currently updating my DC site and working on the Saturn one.

Out of my memory:

- Atari 2600 PAL is covered by Marco K. and Roloff as is (or was) the Philips Videopac section.

- Creativision and the Interton families are covered by ccc--- (Dieter Koenig)

I am now the 2600 PAL guy. Makes sense, huh?

Who is doing the N64 PAL list, or have they give up? :hmm:

tinsair
02-25-2005, 01:20 PM
Yeah I'll also help you on the PS2 list aswell, but like you say when the PS1 list is more complete.

great, Tinsair - maybe we can get the third guy into the boat as well :D

i'm waiting for Joe's new list and then all of our new additions will be included. the remaining rarity ratings will need some time but i'm looking forward to a new challenge when the PS1 database is up and standing.

Off topic sorry. Just a quick question regarding the N64 part #'s, is it the carts part # you have to put down or the box/manuals part #?

I ask because their are differences like this:

Turok 3: Shadow Of Oblivion

Cart: NUS-NTKP-EUR
Box/Manual: NUS-NTKP-UKV

Thanx.

hydr0x

tinsair there ain't no definate system on how to add those

here's how i do it for SNES

http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/game.cmf?gameid=17352

use the -XXX mask as part number and describe all variations in the descr. field

cause that Turok 3 is also going to have a -FAH (box) or -NOE (box) version with most likely the same (maybe a -NOE one for germany) cart inside so you're going to have up to a dozen variations per game

for the mario kart example:

SNSP-MK-NOE was the number on the box/manual (99% of the time they are the same), but also on the cart, if the cart would have been a -EUR one, it would have said

SNSP-MK-NOE (-EUR Cart, German)

the languages in brackets are all that are on the box!! not the in-game ones!

So for Turok 3 I would put something like this:

NUS-NTKP-UKV (-EUR Cart, English)

So for Turok 3 I would put something like this:

NUS-NTKP-UKV (-EUR Cart, English)

right, in the description field, the part nr field would be "NUS-NTKP-XXX"

you don't have to use that system if you don't like it, but i think it's quite good....

tinsair
02-26-2005, 05:11 PM
Yeah I like that too system too :) , just one other thing I have noticed with the part #s Nintendo's own games like Mario Kart 64 has a part # like this:

Box/Manual
NUS-P-NKTP-NUKV

Cart
NUS-NKTP-EUR

So should I put the Part # like this,

NUS-NKTP-XXX

and the description field like this,

NUS-P-NKTP-NUKV (-EUR Cart, English)

Also I have sent a PM to Joe, no reply yet :( .

i always remove those Ps, as it just means PAL anyway.. some games have it in there, some don't, without a certain pattern!

Just waiting to get the go ahead from Joe.

Isn't Mayhem doing Commdore 64, too?

Mayhem
04-09-2005, 03:12 PM
Yeah but that's the whole of the C64 section. This thread is mainly where the PAL list for a format has a different editor to the NTSC side. Rope in more of the Europeans. For a while it was just me, Roloff and Marco LOL

@hydrox
every bit of information you can give us is valuable. i own at about 200 games at the moment so there is much data to be added.

@Tinsair
great to have you onboard again :D

Submitted a bare bones PAL XBox list to Joe on Thursday night he said it'll be up sometime over the weekend - most likely after all the new forum features have settled down.

I'm not doing NES. Don't know who's working on it either.

Wasn´t Stan Stepanic doing it? (altough it covered Usa releases also). I´m working on one (Spanish only), but I know someone that is doing a Pal one, with all European releases.
