I went to buy Sonic 3 For Grayfox as i found it dead dead dirt cheap and i promised to look out for it for him, it cost me about £1 for Sonic 3 which was boxed, i was so happy as i could add it to a trade me and him are doing as an extra as he has been so great to me within the trade...

A great day for me. My 925th game is:

Ninja Gaiden III - NES (loose)

From GameCrazy (fast becoming my favorite store). They had it behind the counter, in their hold space. I saw the yellow spine label and asked the guy behind the counter what the deal was. He said that it was on hold, but for a guy who no longer worked there, so he'd be happy to sell it to me! $7.99. Fantastic. Now I have everything on my NES want list. Then he offered me a job :) (It is my last week at Funcoland because I start a new, full time position next week!)

I had an interesting day.

Went to a Goodwill, walked in and seen a wooden crate with about 20 or so SNES games for $2.99. I walked up and started looking at the first 2 or 3 when this huge ass woman comes around the corner snatches the crate off the shelf and proceeds to walk half way across the store to look through them. :angry: She made me sick to my stomach with a stench that would over power a Red Lobster dumpster. LOL To make a long story short she buys 2, one was a Super Mario World so I think she has no clue whats worth more.

So I decided to go back to the store this morning that I got accused of stealing from. I wanted to check out the rest of the store.

Last time I was there, the woman running it told me that there "official" opening time is 10:00, but 99% of the time there open by 9:00 so if It would be alright for me to stop by. This was great because I have to be to work everyday at 10:00.

So I decided to show up at 9:30, seems fair enough, right?

I walk up to the door, it was locked, oh well...I started to walk away when the guy at the register says "Hey, hold on" and runs over and unlocks the door. He was pretty nice, cool, seems this time was going to be a little better than last time.

....until the owner of the store comes out and starts bitching out the guy that let me in for "letting people in before we're ready".

Great. Just great.

Now, after getting accused of stealing the first time, I now feel like a BURDON by just coming to there shop when I was told it was alright to! I didn't know that GIVING THEM MONEY was such a HASSLE to them. UGH! I'd figure that they'd be gracious for me even coming back after embarassing me like they did.

But anyways, I bought some stuff, even though I really shouldn't have. Just wanted to kind of let them know that *I AM* a paying customer and *I WILL* buy from them if I'm there. Basically it's a "treat me better next time I come into this shop or I won't be back at all" thing.

I'm not really sure what's been going on in my area recently but in the past few weeks there have been massive videogame collections dumped at a local thrist store that I frequent. It appears that a local collecter is dumping all of his stuff week by week. Either that or someone passed away.

It started a few weeks ago when I stopped by and found the following lot (http://home.comcast.net/~griking/coleco.jpg) of Colecovision items. It was all packaged up in 4 large quilt bags which I purchased for $5.00 each. @_@.

Last week I stopped by the same thrift store to find that there were suddenly about 150 NES games there. Out of that about $50 were complete. I ended up buying about 30 of them for $1.99 each. I stopped by the next day to pick up a few others but they were already gone.

Now flash forward to today. i stop by the same store and found the following items.
