Well, I got to the flea market (which is 40 minutes away) that I have never been to (my parents have), and guess what? It's closed. Not a single booth. Guess it's too cold out here. hence, I got nothing.

I went back to that big sale and picked up the following:

http://www.robohara.com/junk/sotfc_23.jpg

It'sa me -- talking Mario and Luigi! Anyone have any info on these?

http://www.robohara.com/junk/sotfc_24.jpg

Star Wars books and C3P0. Star Trek playsets, book, and "How to Host a Mystery".

http://www.robohara.com/junk/sotfc_25.jpg

My son Mason helps carry in the new Cracker Jack clock -- mint in box!

http://www.robohara.com/junk/sotfc_26.jpg

Maxlords said he was looking for Aliens figures -- here's a complete set!

http://www.robohara.com/junk/sotfc_27.jpg

More Star Wars goodies!!! Action figures, miniatures, and a candy dispenser!

http://www.robohara.com/junk/sotfc_28.jpg

I don't even know what this Wizard of Oz thing is but it looked cool.

http://www.robohara.com/junk/sotfc_29.jpg

These came from a different sale, but they were still in the car. Space Ace (DVD), two boxes of DSDD diskettes (always handy with old computers), and some loose Genesis games.

http://www.robohara.com/junk/sotfc_30.jpg

Six McDonald's glasses and another Pac-Man one!

http://www.robohara.com/junk/sotfc_31.jpg

Star Wars board game and a white Sega brand controller (Genesis or Saturn?)

Nice finds man, I love nostalgic goodies like those. :)

A pretty good weekend. There were even good comics at the fleamarket, which doesn't happen often enough.

At used game store in Wise, Va. I bought for $5 each:

Landstalker for Genesis
Death Race for NES
Captain America and The Avengers, Dream TV and Doomsday Warrior for SNES.

At the fleamarket back in Kentucky I found:

NES:

Magician
Super C
Barbie
Bible Adventures black cart
King of Kings with Wiseman on camel art
Legacy of the Wizard
Kiwi Kraze
Power Blade

About $23

And My very first R.O.B., loose for $2. I have a Gyromite cart and I'm wondering if I can get him to work. I'd have to find something else for him to pick up. Even if I can't, he still looks very cool.

SNES:

Brain Lord
Illusion of Gaia

About $12

I also bought some comics and an animated video, Swamp Thing: The Unmen Unleashed, for $1. The lady selling them also had some Swamp Thing figures from the toy line associated with the cartoon, but I don't collect toys and the glow in the dark Swamp Thing was grimy and the extendable arm Swamp Thing seemed to be broken.

For God's sake, man. I want to move to Arizona and find one of these endless deposits of video games that you, tynstar and hellvin dug up.

I was in AZ just couple weeks ago and they got the very cool Bookman's. I only went to one store but was amazed at the selection of cool stuff they had in just this one store.

I also found Retro Rocket in AZ but they were closed. I can't wait to go back. :D

Nah, there's really nothing more out here. Cap's just got connections and I visit the same old boring stores month after month and occasionally find some goodies. Lately I'm all about ebay, just easier.

Oh: and on a sidenote, just bypass Retro Rockets. They have mostly junk and really nasty atari carts. Also some saturn/psx long box games missing inserts and stuff. They're closed half the time and a lot of the people there are kind of annoying. I did find a complete Diner there but that was a long long time ago.
