It can be realistic or it can be sarcastic/funny. It can also be about all games in general, a specific company, system, etc. Here's mine....

Sega's Future Visions...

Sega will make games until 2007, when it decides to release a handheld system. The system has an amazing lineup of games that topple every console release they've done in the past 5 years. Unfortunately people don't buy it because it doesn't have "AO" games that have become all the rage since Rockstar introduced the first console one in 2006. The system fails and Sega goes bankrupt, EA buys all there characters licenses and franchises and uses them in upcoming titles such as "Sonic Football 2008", "Sonic Basketball Jam featuring Anthony Hardaway", "Sonic Racing Unleashed",
"Knuckles Breakaway B-Ball Jam", "Tails and Tiger Go Pro Golf" & "Cream and Amy's Nude Volleyball Championships".

:) Have fun!

in the great amalgamation of 2008, martha stewart enterprises and microsoft will merge, ending decades of feuding between the two corporations. this will prove a nightmare for variant hunters, as each new xbox system will be availalbe in custom patterns and textures, to suit any decor.

sega..ah yes, sega.... they will launch 12 new systems in as many months throughout fiscal year 2009, all using different media. almost 600 people will buy all 12 systems...and sega will decide, once again, to focus on games for other systems.

in 2007, sony will market the psp1, a smaller, sleaker, more poorly made version of the psp. then psthree.

but nintendo? theyll top them all...after the dipshits in california petition to change the constitution to allow arnold s. to become presidentnt(he is almost a kennedy after all!), dorks of the nation will band together and write in 'shigeru miyamoto'..who will become the nations 50th president. he will then pressure americans to only buy nintendo products...and will offer 'tax rebates' in the form of free games. they will topple the once mighty empire that was 'microsoft stewart enterprises', and there will be great rejoicing.

in a shocking display, former employees of acclaim will begin bootlegging classic systems and games, profiting most heartily off of everyone who sold their systems. this will greatly drop the value of all of the original systems, allowing myself to corner the market on virtual boys. the price of virtual boys will skyrocket, as i sell just one per month, before flooding the market and continuing the process eleventy billion times on several other classic systems.

thank you, and good day.

In 2012, the mayan calandar runs out and the stargate thing happens. Out of the gate comes a men from alternate futures. One is from a world where the Saturn beat the playstation, the other from a world where everyone stuck with their Dreamcasts instead of trading them in for ps2s. they tell us of how we foolish people have twice lost our chance at world peace, nirvana, and all that good stuff by ignoring quality gameplay for "good" graphics that weren't even really that good in comparison if you think about it. Then they offer to take the few who saw the light back with them into their worlds of pure gaming goodness.

...no, I'm not bitter or anything.
