Okay, i have a girlfriend nagging me to play on my Sega Pico i bought today @_@

Anyways, i seem to be missing the Flat Yellow piece that slots onto the bottom panel below where the book-carts go.
(im guessin its known as a sensor or something, basically where u use the pen...)

Is this piece vital, im guessing so as i couldnt seem to do anythink with the pen :/

Are there any place for replacement ones or possible a guide on how to make one?

Cheers

Yeah, you're pretty stuck without the pen. sega-parts.com sell replacements for $15 (that's probably more than another Pico though ;) )

noooo not the pen... the part the pen pressed onto, the yellow coloured panel you can remove for other sheets...

this: http://secure-shopping-cart.com/serviceconcepts/cart/cart206.html

is that neccesary?

The yellow insert has nothing to do with functionality.

It is simply a yellow piece o fplastic.

Some of the games ever had different pieces you put in there (musical Zoo for instance)

Are you looking for any more games or a replacement Pico? I have a Pico with a bunch of games.

I also might have a replacemnt yellow pad somewhere, but like I said it has nothing to do with functionality

I have a question. Doest the pen work on the book? If not then the pen is bad. If it works on the book, and not on the tray the most likely cause is a bad sesnor array below the pad. There is a network of wires that sense the loaction of the pen when it clicks below the blue plastic.

Ahh yes.

One of the forgotten Sega's. The Pico.

These are cool. Basically a genesis with a pen control. All educational games though.

I have a pen. My Pico system was dead in the water. The pen may or may not work. If you want to pay for postage from the states. It's yours.

I looked at your trade list and didn't see anything I could use, siince I have no PAL systems. However. I will accept British Pounds. My bank will exchange them.

Sega's Pico has some of the weirdest & most wonderful addons in japan. Forget the pen. Just plug one of these babies into your pico for loads of crazy fun. :D
